The fish I keep in my classroom are around 150 Trout Fry in 55 gallon tanks. Feeding my fish automatically three times a day every day is set on my feeder.
A number of factors determine how long it takes. 1 *br> Describe the number of fish/aquatic pets that you have. What size of tank do you have *3, in gallons. The size of your fish or aquatic pets Feed them at least five times per week. Whenever you feed your animals. 6. How much to feed them at any particular time. You should load as much food as possible
The answer is yes, if you conform to Wanda's suggestions. Keep it dry by covering it with a tarp.
Do you have a way to break up the pellets into smaller Unless the grains are so long that they can fit through the opening of the feeder, there might not be enough room for food to fall through. I have found that with the right setting, it is easily possible to adjust tiny round pellets for small fish and bigger flakes for bigger fish. If you need larger pellets, this will probably work, you've just got to analyze what you'll need. Despite my experiences in using other feeders, this is still the best I've used.

As a result, I would not be able to mount my aquarium's hood/lighting unit using the vice that comes with this product. The feeder was simply installed under my hood after I modified it. The feeder was mounted on top of the plastic hood with a small piece of wood, then drilled a hole to allow the food to fall in. The food was guided by a small funnel, which caught the food. I've attached some pictures to this post. It is my sincere hope that.
In my aquarium, I have only one fish - a betta - and a shrimp tank space. I was looking for something that would be able to feed a tiny number of pellets a few times a day to better regulate feeding. For this purpose, however, this is not the right tool. Using the feeder is extremely easy due to its user-friendly interface. found it easy to set the time, number of feedings, number of turns for each feeding, and the frequency of feedings over four consecutive days. There is a simple battery meter on it and a decent charge can be kept in it (but I haven't used it continuously it lasted two weeks so far and is still charging now). The clamp is sturdy, but the tank glass grips could be rubberized to make them more comfortable. Because it tends to slip on the curved walls of my tank (hence my recommendation that it be used only on rectangular tanks), I recommend using it only on rectangular tanks.
There is a small door on top of the food holder that you can move to adjust how much food your dog gets and for every turn. In my experience, this program is only good for setting amounts of pellet food on small settings when you need more than twenty for feeding large fish. (I was using In my opinion, 3-d is the best To limit the amount I put in, I had to tape the opening to limit the amount to four pellets twice a day. The process of refilling is quite simple. There is a large door on the side of the cup and the cup can be taken out. You can charge your USB device with a micro USB cable that is quick and easy. A portion of the battery was charged when it was delivered. Other than the large size, the only thing you need to be aware of is the unit's complex wiring. I found it far too much for my setup and it holds a very large amount of food. It was a reasonable price and I do not regret purchasing it. Even though I had to modify it for my use case, as a whole it is a well designed and easy to use feeder that will work very well for the majority of users. The pros are The interface is easy to use, the charging is via USB, it can be mounted easily, it has a large battery, a large food supply, and A large, sliding feeding door can let out too much food for a small number of fish (potentially resulting in overfeeding). A clamp that doesn't have a grip on the curved edge of a tank.
Although it may be difficult to get the amount of food exactly where you want it, the setup and design are superb. The device is easy to setup and has not missed any feedings (At least, that I am aware You don't have to fill it up every time. Configuration is a breeze. In addition to being eco-friendly, the rechargeable battery makes me feel good about my consumption. My favorite aspect of this device is that I can leave my 1yr old in the crib for longer than 3 days at a time. Sure, the stench is awful, but at least.
The taste of this is better than that of the Eheim (I've had both). There is a larger capacity of 175 cc that is suitable for pellets of a larger size that can Also, it is far easier to program with it. Because you can either remove the entire drum or slide a section of the drum open, it is easier to fill. The dispensing control must be shut down before you can fill the Eheim. This means you must reset the unit after it has been filled. For this one, you do not have to reset anything to fill. With the battery, you will receive a USB cable that allows you to recharge the lithium battery. The feeder will also rotate on its screw attachment base, which is another nice feature.
The main reason I purchased this device was the high reviews and the fact that batteries are not While the charging facility was definitely a plus, I didn't really enjoy the device because it had such a low battery life. -Issues - It is difficult to secure the device due to the fact that the food is dispensed at the very end. I have a cover over most of my fish tank, so there was no place to secure it without the food falling on it. Please note *br* Fish tanks can't be attached to it because of its incompetent design. Because of the poor design of the clamp, it always falls off. Please note *br* It is the following that is the worst During the tests, the computer would randomly turn off (and then turn back on when squeezed or bumped). It used to be that I would wake up in the morning and find the time that day 4 hours different. I have a hard time believing the other reviews when the film was as bad as it was. It's probably a good idea to do a little more research before I buy something on Amazon next time.
It gives you a lot of flexibility PROS
1), for example, allows you to set up to four 1) The second metric gives you a choice between 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 feeding revolutions for each of the 4 settings shown **3) the opening can be set between a third of an inch and one inch plus. *4) setting by hand A revolution of the product is made for feeding when you press. The following criteria are taken into consideration 2) is over 1 week old I have been able to accurately determine the time and programming for each day. 6) The food has a large capacity! You won't have to continually add food to it. CONS 1) a bit too big even for a 55 gallon You would have to move the top glass forward to allow ample room for food draining in order to make this work (fish food going in the water rather than on the side of the aquarium). Food will inevitably collect on the back side of the aquarium if it's left to its own devices. 3) Instructions were difficult to follow. Don't let the details go unnoticed.
The bottom line Fortunately, there are good and inexpensive automatic feeders out there. I need to set it up a bit It is a bit up, but overall I would say it was worth it. Please note *br* The display indicates how much power is left in the battery - The clock on it lets you set specific feeding times for your children (and also allows you to set your lights on a timer).
The ability to choose more than one feeding time*- - The feeder slot cover can be adjusted to control how much food is given to the bird
Ideally, it would be more convenient if the feed button was manual (though, really, feeding them myself is more satisfying)***Bad Please note *br* This is not a perfect mounting for a 75 gallons tank, but it worked. - You must adjust the feeder slot so that you do not overfeed If you are under-funded Observe the fishes and feed them.
