As I bought these tools on sale, I was concerned that the quality would be poor. I have been using these tongs for a few weeks now, and I can say they are doing just fine. The metal tongs are solid and feel durable. Since you can reach the bottom without getting your hands wet, these are perfect for shorter tanks. In case of a taller tank (29g and up), you might want to get something longer instead unless you do not mind exposure to water. I received a great price for the tank for my axolotl. With the suction from the bottom, it's easy to pick up bloodworma from the bottom, and on top, it's really great at sucking up brine shrimp. As I expected, the tube is smaller than I expected, so getting a lot of the bottom off is a little difficult. Probably not the best idea to eat poop, but it would sure be fun!.

As a replacement, it actually takes the place of the previous version. There was a definite problem with the first one. Chips also appeared on the replacement but it was still usable. I am pleased with my purchase and the item itself. Concerning the packaging, I have a complaint. I received it in the blue n white prime bag. You should keep in mind that the tube is made of plastic, which is easily broken. However, Amazon is a great company, other than that.

Reef keeping kit that is great. The target feeders I use for spot feeding work well for my Acan population. A nice coating covers the tongs and they are quite heavy. They don't feel cheap in any way!.

Description of the product is accurate. It has never caused any problems for me to use the forceps or pipettes. If stored properly, they will work as they should and should have a long service life. Every time you use it, always clean it and dry it.

Very poor packaging and my first suction tube arrived with shattered glass. Replacing the device with a new one that also arrived broken. It is great to have the long tweezers but not good to have the tube.
