Two of the goldfish that I have are healthy. It has helped keep the water clean to use the ring. Is it true that they breathe through their mouths? An ounce or two. this does not harm them in any way. It will also be a huge benefit to have cleaner water.
In my opinion, a 3 x 3 box would fit inside the open area. The dimensions are 25" by 3". 25" in length. That space is large enough to float a large amount of food. I have a question about the ring. I really like how this water level sensor adjusts as the water level changes.
In a 3, it would definitely work. The number is 5, but the number one is There might be a problem with 5 being
Just suction it to the aquarium and drop the food inside to ensure that the food stays in the aquarium, which will keep it looking clean.

I did not do it. But my wife likes it, fish like it and I'm not responsible. It's a great deal, why not go for it?.
Skimmer filters require me to turn off the skimmer pump at every feeding time, which means I need to turn it off at every feeding time. When the water stops flowing, turn off the faucet. The fish need to be fed. Once they finish feeding, wait a few minutes. You need to turn on the skimmers after that. Skimmer pumps are supposed to be off all the time, but most of the flakes go straight into the skimmer when they are not. This little gadget takes the skimmer out of my hands, since it doesn't have to be turned off. In my case, I place it opposite the skimmer, and there are very few flakes in This is my favorite.
Is does what it is supposed to do! There have been no issues with the suction to the wall, and the hole in the Aqueon tank lid matches up nearly perfectly with the suction hole. Moreover, I am pleased to find out that the opening moves with the level of the water, which is a very well-designed feature. My only complaint is that any food that doesn't reach the opening sits on the top perimeter and becomes The water needs to be changed often (to make sure I clean that off). Additionally, there is an issue with my larger fish hogging the food because everything is grouped together in one place. As a result, my platies will eat the food first, followed by my tetras and many other varieties of fish You have to wait until the food is sufficiently ripped up and floating downwards before you begin eating it. As stated above, I still plan to use it as my main reason for buying it was that when I dropped flakes in, half of them would float right toward my filter and the water flow would push them all rapidly down (resulting in a lot of wasted Additionally, this has helped keep my tank cleaner in that regard as well.
We then placed them in our Betta Sorority tank, where they are helping out with feeding. According to the picture, it looks like the float is attached to the suction cup with a string There is no such thing as that. There's definitely a plastic stick there- I believe it was a firm stick During the day) There is enough space in the "ring" for a grown Betta Splenden (2"-5" I suppose that we're talking a lot of space considering most males currently live in up to 5 gallons. tried to fit this in my Marinelife 5g Portrait and it didn't fit very well with its strange sliding glass lid, so most of the food ended up on the plastic edges. use a fully submersible heater, I'm sure I'd be able to get a wider/deeper opening from the lid, which might fix the problem. )On the 5g Fluval Spec, the hole in the lid seems ideally cut for that It was so big, however, that I was going to need to rearrange my Betta leaves in order to make use of Light bars are supposed to be mounted opposite the filter components on the Spec, so that is the only logical place for it.
For now, my Sorority is in a standard 20g tall enclosure, so these feeder rings fit there perfectly. I find that they are very helpful simply because one of my Alphas takes over, and then everyone else can enjoy peace and quiet. The only point I would have preferred is for them to have clear suction cups so that one could be added to the front. They need to add one more to the two I have in there now. I would suggest them to anyone doing a Sorority simply for the reason of space and I would definitely recommend them to those doing older traditional tanks. The tanks are also excellent for community tanks, which can accommodate a variety of fish that eat a variety of foods. I noticed after feeding Bettas in the "rings" the first time they returned to the "rings" immediately after I fed them. They are super smart and they keep checking back in the "rings" whenever they see It is for this reason that I am not. Woot! I give it 5 stars! There is no suction cup because 1) the black suction cup is ugly There is literally nothing I use that doesn't bring a clear suction cup to my tanks. found on the heater holder clamps and on the bottom of the I would like To Put the Business Pieces in the Back). I expect a Better More Clear Suction Cup. It looks great, but unless they intended the black cup to be placed on the back wall of the integrated tanks, I do not appreciate it. I find it strange. It takes up a lot of I don't want you to confuse it with There are many reasons for this.
It was a fine toy and floated just fine, but the size relative to the Betta was misleading and made me think it was close in size (ok? In the end, the bubblestone turned out to be over twice as big as mine, and there was no way to install it without physically impeding the bubble stone as a result of the enormous size. As the square consistently obscured the bubble stone, the flake food was routinely scattered, demonstrating the futility of its own creation, at least in my 3gal Betta aquarium. This may be helpful in large-scale projects The water level needs to be lower than an inch below the top rim of the tank.
There would be food all over the place because I have a wave maker. As far as I can tell, the floating food in the box is kept in place with this product. I watched as the fish bit the rim of the square quite hard, I thought to myself, I hope it doesn't get hurt. The reason for this is that floating food gravitates to the rim. Oscar scratched his head on the rim of the bowl during the second feeding. I had a big gash on my arm. After taking it out, I immediately disposed of it. Now that I have a medical issue to manage, I feel bad for the poor guy. Since it is dangerous to your fish, I strongly advise you to stay away from this product. Due to its defective nature and the possibility of causing injuries to your pet, I am returning this to you.
i attached my feeder too far away from the feeding door, so I could not lift the lid to feed my betta. If you plan to lift the lid to feed, this feeder should be okay. Due to the stick that connects the feeder and the suction tube, it wasn't sucking. As an added note, I noticed the edge on the side that's supposed to be pressed against the floor is quite My fish threatened to swim against it (which it did), so I was scared I would get hurt. In my attempt to fix this, I turned it upside down, but it still doesn't work. It is stuck to the sides and he won't be able to find it. After much thinking, I chose to purchase an adjustable clear tube feeder, a little bit more expensive but better suited to my fish's needs. Baby! I'm so proud of him! This is <3,.
This would have been great when I was younger. At the tank, I would drop in a pellet one at a time until I felt my beta was done. As a result, he would lose 30% of his food as the filter stirred the top water. This item was bought in the hope that it will save me headaches and wasted food from It's a great idea. He just stays in the ring and eats the pinch I dropped in. There are not many pellets floating down anymore.
