I bought this because my family and I were going on vacation at the weekend, and I didn't want my fish to go hungry. Although the instructions were not very clear, it was easy to set up. There is only one concern I have with it I don't really like it when it comes to Because there are different sizes of flakes in the same bottle, you need to do a few tests to make sure the window is wide enough to allow the flakes to fall out. In fact, I read the reviews and it appears to be a good product. I was struck by the amount of food in one of the reviews. In this case, I played with the amount it took on a paper plate when I got it. A simple adjustment to the feeding opening can resolve the problem. I now have no issues using it.

I bought this for a trip I was going on with my family. The device I currently own was an upgrade from one I had previously tried and it didn't work properly, so I paid more for it. My first test of the feeder took place the week before our trip, and I was not happy with the results. It was difficult to predict what would happen at each feeding because they were all so different. In the first round of feeding, two pieces of food would be released. The very next round of feeding would consist of 5x the normal amount following one piece of food. The decision was made not to use it because I did not trust As much as I wanted this to work, my main concern was the dead fish I would find at home. No recommendation can be made.
