While this feeder is easy to set up and use, it's difficult for me to provide exact portions for my chickens. I have so far only tried pellets of varied While I am not sure what kind of fish people are feeding with this, even with the dispenser open a little, my 5" goldfish still receives about a week worth of food at a time. All of the food tanks would be dumped straight into the reservoir if it were opened all the way. As a result, I ended up closing the dispenser as far as I possibly could, then taped over part of the opening and it almost works. Still, I would say there is a plus or minus 50. Unfortunately, it is a 100 percent error. It is not uncommon for five pellets to come out in a day. Within the next 20 days. A feeder of this type would not be a purchase I would make.
