Questions & Answers
The answer is yes, according to me. Our 40 gallon tank holds at least 10 fish and they are doing well after 2 weeks (despite the fact that we have installed 3 feeders).
It seems to be a good plan
If you feed 20 fish in a 10 gallon tank for seven days it is fine During the last eight
This tank was used with a variety of fish in a larger tank. As far as I know, it was not for the full 14 days, so I took what I could. My five tanks are working fine and no fish have

In light of the other review on here, I broke off a small piece as I only have 1 goldfish in my aquarium. There was no way to break it! Despite my best efforts, it barely made a dent when I tried to cut it. As long as we were only going to be gone for 5 days, I figured it was fine to let everything go. When I got home, I found my fish in a nasty cloudy tank with an enormous distended belly. I removed the last pyramid which wasn't even half gone yet, but my fish had died by the next morning. The fish clearly ate himself to death, since the bait is meant to be used for many other species. Use with caution when using 1 The fish count is two.
It is almost the same size as it was on the day I installed it. am not sure what kept my fish alive (probably algae and fry from my guppies), but this product did not work for me. In addition, if you keep shrimp in your aquarium you need to be careful! The copper content of the product is toxic to invertebrates.
(Shifts into murky water on the top of the water, but is otherwise clear. I had left the tank for quite some time yet it looked slightly dirty which is well considering how long I had left it. I usually switch I highly recommend this product. If you want to test the product out before going on vacation, you might want to do so before hand so you can see what the fish eat. This was the PERFECT solution for us! PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING The pyramid seems a bit big for my two tiny fish, and it says it feeds five, but I don't have any fish that large During the day, 10 fish were caught. 1) I was concerned that they would die from consuming too much food. My solution was to take a hammer and a knife to the food block/pyramid and cut off a large piece of it. (It's fairly hard (so it doesn't dissolve immediately), so it took a little bit of effort to chop it into smaller pieces. returned home, there was only a small amount of food leftover at the bottom of the tank and the water My estimate of the amount of food was correct, so I know it was the right amount. My goal when cutting this block was to get approximately 1/5 of the brick for my two small fish and I got just the right Thanks to the food brick, I did not use the whole thing. It is a great product you make, thank you!.
For my beta, it worked fine. Because we were away for 5 days without following directions (we don't have a filtered tank), we didn't follow directions. It was cloudy and we used a larger bowl than normal, but the beta survived and thrived! There is a lot of "waste evidence" to prove that the fish has been well-fed. Even though there is still a large chunk of the pyramid left, I am showing the remaining chunk so you can see how the fish food is gradually released and melted. If I do this again, I will cut the pyramid in half for a 5-sided pyramid We probably won't buy again after this day trip but will definitely do it.
The same tank houses two gold fish owned by my children. Since we were on vacation, it was obvious that I couldn't afford someone to stop by and take care of the fish while we were away. After that, Amazon began providing fish food in the form of these wonderful cinder blocks. then dropped one in the tank, and it sank to the bottom in no time and sat there like an Easter ham waiting Only one of the fish seemed to realize it was food, while the other I am assuming they were not fed for extended periods of time but, regardless, the fish were keeping well even without being fed for a period of 10 days (minus the block I give it five stars due to the ease of use. I gave this four stars for value since I believe my fish ate this to avoid starvation. These people did not appear overly enthusiastic to see this thing sitting in the bottom of the pool. I would give it 4 stars since my fish survived and I was able to accomplish what I wanted. The product was excellent. I would purchase it.
For a weekend trip, I left it in the tank. Fish were in a tank with three tetras. Something was wrong with one of the fish when we returned home. Dropsy developed, as it seems. The fish had a huge bloated belly caused by ascites, and the vet said something made the fish shake. One thing new was the tab with the feeding information. The vet says it may take another week to determine whether other fish are dead. I'm still waiting to learn if any other fish died. (This bird died due to its smaller size. We usually have friends feed our fish, so we will return.
Does what it is supposed to do. After reading reviews that mentioned cloudy water and the fish not eating the embedded food, I was a bit hesitant to make this purchase. We were fortunate not to experience either of these scenarios. Having found that each pyramid can supply 5 fish with food for 3 days, I sawed off half of the pyramid and dropped it into my goldfish tank with two Over the weekend, both fish survived having been exposed to the (half)block for three days! It was a little cloudy, but nothing too bad. It might have helped to have a filtration system. This white chalky substance seems to be delicious to fish and they don't seem to have caused any harm to them They will be affected by it. When we are out of town over the weekend, and can't feed our fish, I would buy these again to feed my fish.
It was surprising to see a review from me, as I usually refrain from writing them. A week ago, my family went on a road trip, which is not something we do very often. Our betta has never been left alone for long periods of time, so we were hesitant to invest in an automatic feeder or anything like that. There was only one trip to this area. The feeder specifically describes that it is meant for betta fish. I made sure this was described as such with my search. As part of the deal, the medicine would be good for up Having been gone for 7 days, we returned to find it looking like this (see photo attached). To make sure it would be okay for him to eat while we were gone, I placed it in the tank 2 days before we left. I think it's been 9 days because it has so much mold on it that it's absolutely impossible that it can still be eaten for, oh, who knows how long. It is a good thing our fish did not That was gross, so I am sure that he was hungry.
