They work pretty well, but let out a bit of water. There is no water tightness if that makes any.

This feeder allows corals to get food that floats to the bottom

My coral feeder is used to get flakes of food down into the bottom of my 180 gallon aquarium rather than up to the surface. Having the fish ingest air instead of food from the top of the water will reduce the need for them to grab food from the top of the water. After grabbing food off the surface of the water, I almost killed one of my bullet sharks after he took in too much air in his swim bladder.

I use it to feed my Bamboo Shrimp on the spot. You get what you pay for here, it is not the best product, the edges are rough and the whole thing is not smooth. I would suggest something else or glass if you want or need rounded or smooth edges.
