In my 29 gallon freshwater tank with seven fish (2 large angelfish, 3 medium size fish and 2 small ones), I used one of them. A smaller pyramid is shown in the attached photo. One I used for my 3 the other for my 2. There's one larger fish in the tank (see photo of pyramid in bigger tank). It all worked out in the end. In neither tank is there any cloudiness. There was no problem with the pyramid dissolving. It would definitely be a good idea to Concerned about my safety, I was concerned.
In addition to feeding my fish, it kept them warm over the weekend. After I took my fish out, I left it in for a week to see how they would fare if I were away for a longer period of time. The water I had was so cloudy that it took me a month of trying different things to get it into clear shape.
My aquarium has been filled with this for 3 days and it has about 40% of its original volume left. It's been over a week since I trusted it to feed my fish, so I wanted to try it out before I trusted it. two juvenile fancy goldfish living in a 65 gallon tank that are about 4 inches in size. There has been no change to the feeding schedule they are still being fed twice a day with the occasional fresh veggie treat. You can see in the photo that this feeding block isn't going to last two weeks. positive side, they love it and it's a good way to add diversity to their diet. However, I doubt it would suffice to feed five cats by itself. A 10 fish diet for 2 weeks is healthy.
Despite 10 days of not dying, my fish continued to live. My first choice is to try one of them before I leave on The first time they used it, they did not use Thus, I decided it should be held near the surface for a few days so "surface fish" can learn sank it, and it sank to the bottom.
A solution was not found for this product. The day before my trip I put it into my betta's tank to make sure it wouldn't starve. When it bubbled as I dropped it in, I knew my betta wouldn't starve. When I saw that, I thought it had dispersed, but it hadn't. I waited a whole day for it even though the package said it would take a few hours. A chunk of it was broken off the next day hoping it would bubble and dissolve more, but it failed to do so. There was a cloud in the tank as a result. After I removed the chunk from my fish, it tried to eat the pieces I had gotten loose from it, but it didn't like them and spit them actually put an absurd amount of food into his tank in hopes that he would consume it all on the first day and leave some for later. It took me 5 days to complete my trip. I saw that it was beginning to dissolve more the longer I stayed, but the food was still trapped inside it. Even more so, I have two more packs to pack and a two-week long trip scheduled in December to contend with.
As far as I know, the fish have never eaten the product, but the important thing is that they are alive. As far as I know, there were only 2 black skirt tetras in one aquarium and 4 other varieties in the other aquarium. There were still more than half of the feeding blocks left even after many aquatic snails had eaten them, so I think it could have lasted much longer if necessary. In addition, unlike other feeders, this one did not cause my water to become cloudy nor did it cause algae growth. The aquatic plants in my aquarium also seem to be doing quite well. The fact that my fish survived this product makes me no doubt I will purchase it again.
Upon return home I found about two thirds of it still alive and all the fish in good health. The game is won by everybody!.
This vacation feeder was the first time I had ever used in my fish hobby history since I didn't want to bother my neighbor by having him come over to feed just one fish (as so appreciated as he was) each day while I was gone. Despite the absence of other animals, Mr Fish lived alone in the house. The long life of this animal saw him through heater and filter failures, sour tank water (my fault), and he lived to see another day. My fish was a little one when I first bought him, and he has grown tremendously since then. Having no one to help him, he lived on his own in a 15 gallon tank. Based on my experience, I believed that API's product would work well for From the point of view of elimination, the only thing that changed in his life was that Now that he's gone, no one will miss him. This has infuriated me. I made the same mistake twice do not do the same EVEN IF IT IS ON SALE, DO NOT BUY IT. It can be anything, even buying a different brand of a similar product. In the future, when I set up another tank, I will install an automated mechanical feeder (which I would buy on Amazon) that dispenses the real fish food flakes while I am not home. I appreciate your kind words,.
