There are a couple bigger pieces in the package than I expected, about 5 inches tall I can easily fit this tank into my 6 gallon tank since it is 7" tall.
The time I spent on it is not known to me. Is it possible to tell me how long it will take? A process that worked for me was to boil the wood, dump the dripping water, add fresh water, boil once more, dump, and so on. The water was left to turn color until the water stopped changing. Upon boiling the wood, I realized it was no longer a risk for my tank when the water was clear.
You are not dealing with There is a bloom of bacteria that happens to most natural wood when they are first placed in their aquariums. Alternatively, you can manually remove the bloom, in which case it will disappear naturally.

Spiderwood is a natural material that is unique to each piece I received. A ruler is shown next to the size in the photo. The bags came in a nice drawstring design. In my planted nano tanks, I will glue some Buce, Java Ferns and Anubias on top to make them stand out. Considering the price of six interesting tank decor pieces, this is a good deal. It hasn't been long enough for me to see if there are a lot of tannins, but most of my spiderwood pieces don't seem badly tainted. As soon as they stain a lot, I toss them into my black water tank.
The 4 gallon tank I have in my home has three pieces of spider wood. I have two pieces from this order (circled in red in photo), and the other is a medium size piece of wood from my local pet shop. To give you an idea of size, I circled the two pieces from the order and the larger piece is from my local pet store. It was easy to fit all of the items I ordered from here into my coke cans. It seems as though these pieces have been boiled out of tannins, since they're considerably lighter than my other large piece from Target. Overall they would look best alone in a 1 gallon tank, however they can compliment slightly larger pieces of spider wood not included in the.
As I planned to use the driftwood at some point, I was quite happy with the pieces There are a lot of interesting shapes in it, with the exception of one that is a bit blah. The price for them is better than I expected.
The pieces were great and the size was spot on.
Since the tips of roots and such were snipped, they are a bit sharp, so it is advisable to sand them down or grind them down a bit before using them, this will prevent pets from getting accidentally scratched. Soak and boil it for safety. An aquarium accent made from a cute small piece of wood.
If you want to look somewhere else, please do so. In addition, the insects are tiny.
Interesting and small pieces that are very nice to look at.
My fault for not reading the description more carefully, I thought they were smaller than I thought. Only problem was that they came covered in mold, and I had to soak them in bleach solution for a few minutes to get rid of it.
