Questions & Answers

Can you give me any suggestions since my tea is still leeching tannins after 6+ hours of boiling?

A little over an hour passed after I had boiled it. There was almost no color to the water. There were some reviewers who mentioned this. Do not waste any time getting this into cold water. It's easy to do if you live in a cold climate, just put a bucket of water in the garage and let it soak If 3 gallons of water doesn't get stained too badly, then it should be okay for the aquarium even if more tanning comes out. It is a good idea to change the water every couple of days. It will remove all the discoloration in my aquarium if I always have carbon in it. It also eliminates the PH reducing benefits, according to my readings. It allows the PH and KH to be tugged a little downward, keeping the PH from approaching 8 too much and the KH from rising too much. There won't be a chance for it to drop too low with the carbon. The only thing that keeps it from going too high is to restrict its movement. My plan is to add a male and female bristlenosed pleco to a 75g aquarium and I will need a rasping piece to keep them entertained. This is why I'm ordering a second piece. The bottoms of the stools can lay flat on the ground, so they take up little space. Plants can be attached to these easily as well.

Can this be a good addition to the vivarium of White's tree frog?

Yes, wood can last under water for 20 years

Keeping the water changed for a coming back! Thank you for your help, seller! ?

When I first used Mopani wood to build my tanks a few years ago, I was horrified and became allergic to it. These eruptions only happened to the areas where the color is light and smooth. The problem is. You have nothing to worry about. *br>*br>First of all, it's harmless, 100% natural (bacterial bloom, the wood is cycling in your tank) and will eventually go away -- Give a few days or a week. By scrubbing you will only add to the stress as each time you do this you will have to start all over again. If you'd like to speed up this process, you can do a few of the following The first point. The tank should also be equipped with algae eaters. For example, loaches and plecos love this kind of food, and many fish do too. 3. *br> It will get fuzzy after it soaks, so you should take it out and set it in direct sunlight for a couple of days. It is possible to help in this way. As far as tannins are concerned It is a natural food for fish, but not for humans. Using Seachem's PURIGEN filter media will achieve the best results. You can use this to clear up your tank water.

this product in the large size. If there's a way I can request type similar to the two-dimensional one, that would be great. Are there more tree branches on this pronged branch?

This is an excellent product
4/5

I expected more but was pleasantly surprised. It looked very similar to the photo and was very Then I put it in the tank after three weeks It took four hours to boil (my pot was too big so I boiled it for two hours per side), then I let it cool down for perhaps an hour and then I put it in the Putting my feet in the tub right now would alleviate much of my impatience. It is truly surprising to see that there is no tanin after it is put in the tank. As a result, my tank remains crystal clear and I have certainly gained a great deal from it. Due to this, I ordered another one just a few minutes ago and it is now at my doorstep. My box has arrived, and I'm eager to unpack it. Update The second one is no where near as good as the first one. These photos show the first and second orders.

I have no idea what it will look like, nor how big it will be in reality
5/5

You cannot know how large or how it will look before buying driftwood online. When shopping online you have no idea what it will look like and how big it will Petsmart and Petco have just Grapewood in their stores, which is good for dry lizard cages only, and it is not suitable for fish tanks with high humidity and drip walls or raised plant containers with natural drainage. Mopani is ideal for all of these uses.

It's a beautiful piece, but the root is not known to be part of Geosystem Mopani
5/5

This piece of wood is gorgeous and I like it very much, but it is not Sand Blasted, and I also did not receive a GEOsystem Mopani Root as described in the listing. As a gift from Fluval, I received a Mopani driftwood. It turned my tank water brown even after I soaked it in a bucket of hot water for 24 hours and changed the water 10 times. I then boiled it for about 4 hours, and it still turned But oh well, hopefully it will clear up soon. I should have soaked it longer for sure. It was well worth the price I paid for it. I really love it. My order is a large piece that is about 17 inches long. Due to the fact that I just set up my tank about a week ago, I don't have my background or plants, so you can see the wires. I apologize! A minor update I have changed my water several times over the past three months and still have brown water. The piece is still turning my water brown, and I have no idea how long it will take it to stop but I wish it would hurry up.

There are a lot of chemicals in there
3/5

The instructions were followed to the letter. You should let it soak in running water for at least 2 days, not just for 2 hours as I added the mix to the tank after baking it and checked the water quality after 4 hours. I found the ph and mineral content of the water to be completely spiking. There was a gas leak in the water source and all fish, shrimp, snails, and plants died within 24 hours. Despite the 70 dollar branch costing over 2000 dollars, we still had to pay for it. The tank in which we established losses was worth $0. 00.

This is a good price, but the gamble may not be worth it
3/5

This was supposed to be sandblasted and painted to match the rest of the house. Not at all. There is a beautiful side to the piece, but it is ugly and rough on the reverseside, so it can only be used on the one side. The website did not illustrate this, but that underside in an aquarium is not very appealing. You got lucky if you got one with a 3D shape and sandblasting smooth all over. My piece was mostly flat with a nice top and a bad underside. They are all different, so keep that in mind when deciding what piece you get.

I think you made a bad decision! A revised review has been published for September It has taken me two months to come to the conclusion that I do not like this product
3/5

My long process of bowling and socks to get the red out is still not working. As I mentioned before, my wood tank has changed colors several times. After the first month, I started to see some white fuzzy mold growing on the product. In spite of cleaning and removing the mold, it seems to keep coming My tank will be empty of this product soon. The recommendation is not to do so. In this month's July Review, I would like to point out the following A wood element for those who wish to add a wooden component to their There is nothing I dislike about this product. It looks great. As for how to add an extra element, you can do it however you like. It's not time to put it in yet you'll just need to finish this process.

This item WILL bleed in the water, so DO NOT just put it in. This item will need to be soaked for 4 to 5 days before it can be used. You should change the water twice or three times a day, letting it soak overnight between each change. Furthermore, you will need to boil the driftwood in water for 10 to 15 minutes. Here is how I used my process For instance, I soaked the driftwood for 6 hours then boiled it for 10 minutes before drying it out About 15 minutes. After I rinse it, I put it back into the sink or tub with hot water and let it soak the next day. Four days were reputed to be sufficient for soaking the cotton and changing out the water When it stopped bleeding out, it turned a reddish or reddish brown tone. I felt that the water was clear enough to be placed in the tank once I had cleared the area. There is no change in the color of the tank as you can see. It would have changed/messed up the water if I had put it directly into the tank.

Great value for the money! In addition, This is the size I bought for my 10 gallon betta tank (Large)
5/5

Seven neon tetras are also in the tank. According to me, the piece is a piece of crap A bit of a surprise with regards to aesthetics, but WOW am I ever impressed! When I received this, it was actually broken, but the piece that broke off made a good piece in its own right. The product I purchased is exactly what I expected. This product was very good to me. I boiled it for about six Let it come Remove from heat), then let it soak until it is Bring water to a boil by dumping it out and refilling it. Follow steps 5 to 7 It has been repeated six.
