That seems to be the case.
Real wood has a light brown color, so the boards are that It is recommended that you soak them in treated tap water for at least 24 hours before they are put in the fish tank. You will notice that the water becomes cloudy
One of my dwarf puffers can swim through the hole. Though most fish are too large to fit through, they will be able to jump over it.
I don't believe it does. There is a pet store where you can buy them.

Three good-sized chunks were given to me, and I definitely recommend rinsing them off before you give them.
I loved it at first. Here it is sitting in my tank all throughout cycling. It started growing white mold, which is harmless, so no big deal. As soon as it started decomposing quickly and releasing huge quantities of tannin, it combusted completely. I now see lots of wood "flakes" flying out when I move it, and the bark seems to be coming away from In 2 months, my wood has shrunk significantly! I know decomposition is normal, but my wood has shrunk significantly in just 2 months! In my tank, at the bottom near the substrate, there is also a lot of tannin particles, which make it challenging to maintain a healthy ecosystem. Trying to vacuum up the tannin particles will make them float everywhere.
I find the length of the logs to be about right, and they do not seem overly long nor underlong. I like the feel of the logs, in my opinion, as they are smooth and woody. The only opinion that matters is the crabs, and I believe that they enjoy climbing the logs, so no matter what the opinions are!.
As I mentioned in my previous review, they were amazing. some of these in a hermit crab tank, and they came up with mold, along with another item (a reptile twine hammock bed). Every time I clean my hermit crab tank, I do a good job. Therefore, it was a surprise for me to find mold growing on it. Ideally, I would like a humidity ranging between 70 and 80% A 80 percent success rate. it's not for tanks that require such a high level of moisture, but I had to throw my old ones Don't miss out on this rare opportunity. They came just how they were pictured and they were great until they started growing mold. I gave them 4 out of 5 stars.
Climbing Logs will be an excellent choice, in my opinion. There is a bullet point in the product description, however, that states you must boil the logs and let them sun dry before using them. A zip-top bag contained 3 logs that had not label or instructions (except for a bar code and some words describing the product 3 Pcs Cholla Wood - 3 PT. Safe for pets, pesticide-free). Having these 6 inch climbing logs will be a great addition to the habitat of my daughter's hermit crabs.
I will be adding them in the near future.
There is an unpleasant odor in my room that made me unable to sleep. You should be able to use it if you get it to work. Those of us who did not get black mold poison got sick!.
I do not believe the quality of this product was as good as what was shown in the photos. Three so-so pieces of cholla wood were sent to me. There was a big burl in one of them. One piece was discolored on one end by a black stain. There were only a few holes in the cholla, and they were of an unattractive size and shape. *The bag it came in was dirty as well.
One quarter of one of these was shredded within a few days by my hermit crabs. seem to enjoy it a lot, and I am happy that they have an activity to do! If you have a hermit crab, you should probably try these out.
