When boiled for 30 minutes, the eggs will sink all the way to the bottom
After soaking them in hot tap water for four minutes, I took them out and rinsed them During that time I changed the water multiple times per day. At the end of the 5 days, I let them soak an extra day to dechlorinate the tap water before I put them in my tank. Over the course of a few days, the Water became yellowish brown, but eventually it cleared There were two that floated for quite a few days before sinking, but watch out these may be seven-year-olds Their diameter is very small, too, considering they are just 8" long (barely)! My expectations were blown away by the size of this!
When not boiled prior to being placed in the tank, cholla wood can get fuzzy, or it can be the beginning of black beard algae. It depends on how it looks, but yes cholla wood develops fuzzies.
Hopefully, the quality of the product has improved and it is not as filthy as before.

They are not of good quality. I liked two of them but one of them was quite solid at the middle. There was only one explanation for it My tank was filled with boiled greens after I boiled them for a few hours. There were very high levels of ammonia in the air. As part of my weekly care, I vacuumed the gravel and changed the water, I checked all of the plants for any rotting leaves, and I ensured there was nothing dead in the aquarium. Filter media have been changed. Yesterday, I had a rotten garbage odor in my tank. Perhaps it's the rotting wood that's causing the problem? The next morning, I could smell a difference in the smell of my tank. I rinsed the wood under fresh water and saw giant clumps of disgusting mud fall from the cholla wood as I rinsed it. After almost an hour of cleaning out small holes with a thin wire brush, I bought a new one. Gagging was the result of it being so disgusting. As far as I'm concerned there is no quality control occurring in this company's products, so I wouldn't recommend ordering this wood.
I have noticed that my fish have a preference for.
Using boiling water, I boiled the very nice size pieces (over and above Over and over again) to remove the tannins. That's probably why I am overly cautious. Following that, I attached a few sprigs of hornwort, which could be seen in the photo. My script was updated since then to include Java Moss. This food is a favorite of my guppy fry and ghost shrimp!.
I might purchase it Though the pieces were smaller than I expected, I did not mind because I would use them as hideous decorations, unless they Only 2 pieces out of 5 were good looking the rest were really boring and thin. It was fortunate that I did not wish to decorate with them. They are very useful to me since I have a lot of shrimp, snails, and algae eaters that depend on them for food. The last thing is that they arrived on time, so I made sure my bucket was ready and I boiled lots of water before opening the bag. I tried to remove a lot of the residue and debris by running each piece of wood in water while it was boiling to To prevent the wood from floating, I laid a few rocks on top of the hot water once I put the wood in. As soon as I took off the rocks the next day. The bucket was filthy and none of the pieces floated (I was actually impressed). To be safe, I continued to boil water once every day and repeated my process for a week before finally adding the wood to my tanks. The overall quality is okay for the price. DO KEEP IN MIND CHOLLA WOOD WILL BREAK DOWN AT SOME POINT.
It arrived recently and was fairly well packaged. It had chunks of varying diameters, about five inches in length. In order to preserve the wood, I boiled it in water for about 40 minutes until it dissolved, then submerged them for a day in a separate bucket. It's a bit too much for the RCS, now that I don't see them as often as I used to. The following
The 3 pieces I received had decaying or damaged parts of the cactus, which I had to scrape away, and even then some of it was questionable (I had to shave some off). However, I would purchase from this seller again if I needed another piece.
Chewing wood for chinchillas made of wood that is safe for them. In the package, each piece was about the same length and had a varied circumference.
It doesn't appear to be a problem with the product. I put one of the sticks in my 20 gal aquarium and it has been holding up well without affecting the clarity or quality of the water. I like how it looks. I will still feed them, even if my fish ignore them.
The last week, I ordered these to put in my new Caridina shrimp tank. arrived promptly in a resealable plastic bag with a very nice presentation Easily opened snap pouch, which is great for anyone who only uses one or two at a time. However, the directions for preparing it for use were missing (as this was my first time using it). The one I needed I simply rinsed, and it has been floating in my tank for 2 days now. In the end, I think it will take in enough water and sink, like I have seen in other tanks, so my shrimp will be able to enjoy it more! saw this as an inexpensive decorative item, but so far I have been very pleased with it.
