Is this a genuine piece of driftwood? Dor pleco is what I'm looking for. ?

It's made of real driftwood. This is the second time I've ordered this item, and both times the pieces have arrived in excellent condition. They also sink immediately, so there's no need to wait for them to waterlog.

Is this going to fit in a 5 gallon tank? Mine is wider than it is taller. ?

There were a variety of sizes to choose from. Two of them were smaller and could easily fit into a 5 gallon bucket. I put the third piece in my 29gal because it was the longest.

(Only two are shown) Remember that if you don't want your water to turn yellow, you must take precautions. With an hour and a half of boiling, I was able to extract all of the tannins. My pleco adores them, and they've become a popular hangout spot for the rest of the bottom feeders. Highly recommended, great size for the price and a wide range of shapes. When I need new wood, I will definitely buy from you again.

These are the three items I was sent. I'm happy with the size and variety of shapes, especially considering the price and lack of ability to choose individual pieces. These should be a big hit with my platypus.

Pieces of a generous size exceeded expectations

This is the second time I've placed an order with this vendor. I was ecstatic when I finished the first piece. Three "small" pieces turned out to be much larger than I had anticipated. In my freshwater community tank, this is ideal for propagating Java fern rootlets.

It's a little bigger than I expected, but it'll suffice for a 10-gallon container. Overall, I am pleased with the product.

I bought the small one, but it was missing pieces

The one I bought was small, but the pieces were enormous! I ended up saving the large piece for when I get a bigger tank, putting the medium piece in my main tank, and thinking about putting the smaller piece in my fry tank!.
