Product Description

It is made of high quality driftwood that is stable and durable and lasts for a long time under water or in
Genuine natural wood adds to the beauty of a space. The tank is designed in a unique way that adds to its aesthetic value
The driftwood varies in size from 6 inches to 10 inches in length, and no two pieces are alike. Every piece is carefully selected, the images shown are merely some of the driftwood you'll get what you actually receive may differ from the images shown
The wood must be boiled for at least three hours, followed by complete submersion in water for 5-7 days, until no change occurs in the color of the water.
As soon as you decorate your aquarium with driftwood, it will become its focal point. Driftwood shelters a night fish, a ghost shrimp, a hermit crab, and smaller fish like to hide from the light

Questions & Answers

In order to place this in the tank, does it have to be soaked?

In fact, I would recommend that you soak the wood for days, if not for The wood is soaked prior to being placed in the tank to increase its stability, but releasing the tannins, as well, makes it more palatable. Generally, it isn't harmful to most fish, but your tank water will look like tea until it has all been All the driftwood that I collect I soak for two weeks (in a cooler) and boil in hot water for several hours. This releases most of the tannins and kills any critters or bacteria in it.

What if I boil it first? Does it still have to be soaked?

I am interested in knowing how to sanitize wood. *br>You can wash the wood and clean it, then boil it until the water does not darken. If you want, you can put it in My sincere thanks go out to you

The wood's size is how big is it?

Up to five are available in the small size. The length of the window is nine In the large size, there are between 5 and 10 pieces I have a 9-inch chest

It's hard to tell what the sizes are. The small is available in five measured inch size ranges, which costs It is $12 for the medium, 95 for the large. A large version costs $17, and a small version costs 99. How many?

My name is Small- The size of these earrings is around 5 inches in length. *Possession of approx. 9 inches in length *large A little less than 11 inches long

I was not happy about the situation
3/5

As far as I'm concerned, this is unacceptable. In one of the pictures, a good base appears about 14 inches long, but I received a 5 inches by 5 inches base when I ordered one with a one-inch root sticking out I've returned!
The price is not good for the value!.

It was disappointing
3/5

There are a lot of holes and imperfections in this little piece of wood. As a result, you almost always end up with the worse end of the stick because you don't know what you're going to get. It would be better to go to a small pet shop and buy what you can find.

As a result of the reviews, I was hesitant to purchase, but ended up doing so
5/5

It was a risk for me to buy due to the reviews, but I went ahead anyway. This will fit perfectly on my Fluval Spec V. I ordered the medium size. As opposed to what you see, what you get will be different. Driftwood pieces come in all shapes and sizes. Because I kept an open mind, I had a pleasant surprise.

As far as driftwood wood goes, the piece I received was There were many spurs on it and it was of a small size
5/5

This is a rewrite of the review I just wrote. I don't know what happened to the first one. Even though I read a lot of reviews complaining about size, I felt that the driftwood wood I received was of very high Despite its size and number of spurs, it was in good condition. At the time of the photo, the boiling had already lasted one hour. It's hard for me to say if I was just lucky or not with this selection but I am glad I was. My update is that I boiled it with salt for six hours then with water for six hours. When I placed it in the tank after cooling, the wood barely made contact with the bottom. Three rocks that I added to the wood added a great deal of beauty to it. Buying this item was a good decision. Wood floats, so keep that in mind!.

I am not happy with it Earlier this year, I purchased a piece of driftwood
3/5

I received a copy of the report on April 26. After receiving the tea, I took the advice of some of the reviews and boiled it quickly (5 times) and then put it into a bucket of water to get rid of whatever tannins had not been removed say, that was over 80 days ago and the water in my bucket still turns brown/red and the driftwood is becoming slimy because it is sitting in stagnant water for long periods of time. However, it is not ascetically pleasing to look at even though it is the right size. It would have been better if I had saved myself $26 instead and bought a Sponge Bob pineapple house so the piece could have been used in my tank already. My yard or the trash is where I expect it to end up. In the interest of making the best decisions, I am writing this really late. I had waited so long to avoid turning my tank the color of brackish water, so I needed to give it the benefit of the doubt. It doesn't make sense!
I'm just not happy with this.

It's a hit with my betta! If ordering online, you never know what you will get
5/5

Of course the photos show a sample of what you may receive, but let's be honest, you just never know and it's not the seller's fault if Amazon chooses a piece you won't find appealing. There is no way to read a person's Having said that, I was extremely happy with the 5 I got for my 5th birthday. The 5gal tank is full! This hide is in great shape and honestly became another hide in my tank for my Betta! My favorite part is that it's so simple! My wood used to sink as soon as I put it in boiling water (to disinfect it before installing it in my fish tank) but I decided to order online rather than go to the PetSmart across town but this is a good piece and I'm glad I did! In any case, if you're set on a specific shape, you can find it at a We all have an innate desire to get something unexpected, so orders online are a great idea! Just remember to remember when placing an order that our pets cannot care less about the look!.

There is actually a tree there! The water has to boil for at least an hour (or perhaps twice, and you need to dump the tannin concentrated water midway through Following this, submerge the wood in a bucket filled with water and weigh down the wood with something heavy
5/5

If you remove the weight, you will see the ship sink when you remove the rock (I used a heavy glass cup). The piece I got, which was a small, was waterlogged after about six months In my tank, I have completely submerged it for seven days without changing the color of the water. My book has been in my hands for about 3 weeks now. As for my piece, I must say that I am very pleased with it for some reason. My ghost shrimp loves sitting on it. I definitely recommend this price and would do business with them again. In the process of attaching some java moss to this, I hope to create a canopy for the plants. A photo of it is attached. You can find it at the center. Thanks for the tips! I hope it helps those who have difficulty with tannins and sinking wood.

I wasn't expecting it to be as good as I thought, however
3/5

While the driftwood still does not sink, and has to be held down with another ornament in the tank, it does look nice, but you cannot call it "sinkable" if it floats even when it is You get only one item, but it looks like you get two pieces in the picture.
