Questions & Answers

In the event that I have a 3 A small piece of the wonder shell will fit in a 4 gallon tank with a snail and a beta (and a moss ball). Is it safe to use this?

(1) You need the smallest Wonder Shell you can find for your tank because it has a very small surface area. Your tank will be much safer knowing the Wonder Shell is one of the most important additions. A long with calcium, and all kinds of good stuff like minerals and so forth, it will help keep the shells of the fish and snails in a good, strong shape. It also adds some Hardness to the water, which is very important. The hardness of the water helps keep algae in the tank from multiplying. An algae is good, but not too much The snails like it because it is a natural food. If you allow too much algae to grow in your tank, you will create an ugly This is where Wonder Shells are your best friends. Therefore, they should be considered to be your best friends. Another thing I would recommend is that you ask your Beta seller for a small piece of a suitable plant from where you got it. By using the plant, you will avoid your fish poisoning itself by removing excess nitrate from the fish waste. A toilet is not the kind of place you want to live, is it? It's okay to put a little bit of plant The plants look nice also, if you fed that pretty little marine monster a tiny bit of food only once a day, perhaps someone told you that would be OK. In a small tank like this, we are dealing with a very tiny pinch and only once per day. You should remember that fish can go days without finding food if they are left alone. If you give him a tiny bit of food, he won't starve. The more food he eats, the more poison he will become. It's said the stomach of a cat is just as big as its eye. Don't let him eat as much as you do. You can do it with a little bit of effort! You should also change your water on a regular basis. My routine was to change my clothes every week Taking out 25% of that water and replacing it with the same-type of water It is the right temperature. Every week, on the same day at the same time. If you are worried that you may have too much Wonder Shell in your aquarium, a small water change will help you clarify that you do not have too much calcium. The plan of having a small shell in there all the time with monthly water changes is probably fine. 6) And I hope you have some water conditioner available If you are changing the water of your fish, you should add some stuff to the new water so it will not be poisoned by chlorine. If you do not yet have some, be sure to get some! to answer your original question, I will say the following I'll take it! Put a Wonder Shell to use Besides being good for fish, they're good for plants as well. You do a great job. Plus, they're cute, just like the rest of your work. Enjoy your time with the fish, and don't forget to talk to them. I hear you! I think. Heh.

What is the composition of this product? Does it contain ?

Snails are the reason I used these. The extra calcium they provide is very useful. No metals were present, according to my memory. Make sure the product is searchable by going to the manufacturer's website

Shells are useful in a small tank of a beta and a snail, but the number of times one should use one is unclear. ?

I recommend that you do a new one every half an hour The previous tank or full tank needs to be changed if no water is left in it. The following is how I go about doing this in my 55 gallon

How can I achieve the same result by crushing these up?

Thanks for asking. I will get right on it. There's a lot an aquarium can do with Wonder Shells, and they do a lot. The Wonder Shell makes the water more hard. Now, I don't know what kinds of animals and plants you have, but if you smash it up and add it to your aquarium at one time, the water might become Way More Hard than is good for the aquatic life resident in your tank. Thus, I would not recommend such a course of action. It takes them very little time to melt over time, and do exactly what is advertised. Patience is a virtue! It is a virtue to have patience, isn't it?

The snails I had a mystery about really appreciated your help
5/5

My snails and shrimp seem to have benefited greatly from using these. The shells of both of my snails were forming grooves and damage as they grew. As soon as I added one of these, their shells began to heal.

Fish health can be improved
4/5

It is common for aquarists to add trace elements once a week or so (all fish require these trace elements), at a time that suits them. This, however, has the unfortunate side effect that the beneficial results from adding the trace elements so sporadically disappear within a few days when the minerals (Calcium, Magnesium, and others) lose their positive charge of electricity during processing. Despite the mineral content of the water, it still holds minerals They will show up at the same level in your GH tests On the web you can check the redox balance to see if there is still a positive charge, but it is gone. It is highly beneficial for our bodies to have everyday access to POSITIVELY charged calcium and magnesium Maintaining an electrolyte balance in the fish body is important for disease prevention. Through their slow dissolving process, the Wonder Shells provide this constant supply of minerals with positive charges. My reason for giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that it does not offer controlled release, allowing is not allowed to put a target for your minerals, and there are many other beneficial minerals in it that I add separately. They are not part of my main display tanks, but I do use them in my quarantine tanks to make sure all the positive charged minerals in the water are present, to provide more than enough for new fish. If, on the other hand, you don't want to add certain minerals every day, then this is a great way for you to make sure that the beneficial minerals are always available. Don't forget to That type of thing is necessary to ensure the health of fish at much higher levels. The only trouble is that you have to drop another one in your tank when the current one dissolves.

The snail I was holding was killed
3/5

As a result, the snail that I was trying to decipher completely dissolved. One shell with one dissolved snail was all I found after I introduced this to my snails. The number of snails that I had was three, and I now have 2. My other two snails completely climbed up the side of the tank in order to avoid this POS product. It is definitely not worth buying if you care about your snails surviving. I just had to explain to my four year old why her snail died.

It's such a great price, and the inverts are happy too! You can use them to add some extra calcium to your tank, and because they dissolve faster than cuttle bones, you won't need to worry about them breaking apart
5/5

They also provide water conditioning too, so you'll feel better about them! My mother gave me one of these to keep the snails that I brought back from North Carolina happy after I moved As a result, they gained some calcium, plus the water was conditioned, which was excellent since I would have to change the water almost every few days for the next few days until I brought them home and acclimated them to their It is also fun to buy them occasionally just to spoil my snails, and I will throw one into their tank for them to crawl through. As far as these things are concerned, there isn't much to complain about. In my experience, they're very handy to have around when treating sick snails in quarantine or snails with shell problems, so I'll probably buy some again in the next few months to keep on hand for when I find I need to treat snails with shell problems. I have a number of.

The best product on the market for aquatic snails
5/5

This is the gift I bought my 10-year-old They opted for a 30-gallon aquarium without realizing there were larger ones that would prove more effective. My reason for buying them is that I had read that calcium is an important supplement for snails. The shell minerals did make my water less cloudy more than I expected, as reported in other reviews. I think they are an excellent product that improves my fish's health and makes my tank water less cloudy. They did a great job cleaning up my water, and I wish I had bought them sooner in the past.

I thought it was okay at first
3/5

Yesterday, I added three of the small shells to my 10 gallon tank and have noticed that they are helping my fish. The water in my aquarium was already clear, so I didn't notice anything in that respect. However, I definitely saw a difference in my mystery snails, These tablets gave them a major boost in activity and they may or may not have been mating up afterward. It is only the second day, but it appears that they barely dissolved, either the shrimp or smaller snails. My betta is still active, and there is no real difference in the shrimp or snails. Perhaps I didn't have to put all three into the tank at once, but the instructions on the back did not make sense to me. So far, the whole tank seems happy so I am delighted. Maybe next time I'll add just one or two at a time. Editing is necessary It's been almost a week and most of my shrimp have suddenly died after being very active earlier! Yesterday, I removed 2 of the shells, woke up to yet another dead shrimp, and removed the other 2. The only thing that has changed is that they are all dead now I am devastated. I am unsure for certain if it was these shells, but in any event that is all that has So I don't know ) My snails appear to be very active and reproducing and my betta appears to be doing fine. It is Almost 1 hour after I left the last shell in the tank. There are 2 shells in the tank. The following five weeks have passed. There doesn't seem to be much interest in it from the snails as far as food goes, but I think they have plenty regardless of how much food they get.

These are assisting my shrimp with the molt itself
4/5

I am assuming they are helping my shrimp survive the molt (although I cannot confirm this). As well as veggie sticks with calcium, I feed them veggie sticks. Since the product says just drop it in, I would have to buy too many of them since it would dissolve too quickly. Despite the fact there is a low bio load in my shrimp tank (I also have Chili Rasboras in there), I do a PWC periodically when the nitrates rise, so the shell doesn't go to waste since it is less than 5 gallons. Around once a week, I cut off a piece of the puzzle. As of today, none of my shrimp have died (knock on wood) since I began using both of the items mentioned above. In addition to lowering the pH, I've also increased the alkalinity of my water. There are 6 to 7 with peat, so that could also contribute. The minerals aren't being replaced by low bioload in these shells, so I intend to use them as long as they can handle my mineral load. It would be nice to find them cheaper though. The price for three is quite high for $7 or something.
