When it falls, it is weighted and falls straight down so it is simple to get it back up when it falls. It works very well for an acrylic tank.
I throw away the pad and leave the magnet in the tank 100% of the time at the top corner, as this You can put it on the little pad if you wish to take it out. For me, it is a toss away item.
Not at all. The magnetic cleaners in aquariums are frustrating to use just to clean the But they will not be strong enough to clean frost off a windshield or dust off a walkway. It would be great if you tried. You can share your TikTok video by posting a link. If you lose time trying to clear off frost on your windshield, your fame on TikTok will more than make up for it.
Thanks for visiting! If you have low iron glass, you can use this.

This tank fits into a standard 10 gallon glass tank in the small size. This was one of the cheaper options and it had decent reviews, so it was a good fit for me when I was on a tight budget. Fortunately, the glass pad can clean up the algae, however it may need a few passes, especially when dealing with more stubborn algae, but I believe this is normal for scrubbers of this nature. It falls pretty easily since the magnet isn't very strong and considering its weight it's not designed to navigate corners well. The tank is bulky and I find it a real hassle to clean around my HOB filter, heater, and live plants. My pad is bulky as I have a substrate with sand that prevents me from getting too close to the bottom without getting sand stuck in it. The thing is I have to retrieve it from the bottom of the container every time I use it. Even with a bigger tank, the sinking can be helpful, but honestly, with a 10 gallon tank, it won't be able to "float away" My plan is to replace it eventually with a small, floating type.
The purchase of this product has been one of the best I have made Using the magnet is super easy and helps you get rid of algae MILLIONS of times The price of this product makes it a no-brainer to get it.
The product was bought to clean a 5 gallon acrylic desktop tank by Aqueon. I figured the manufacturer of the tank would have a product that would be appropriate for cleaning Despite my best efforts, the blue pad that is designed specifically for acrylic tanks left scratches on my Aqueon acrylic tank that was only a month old. Lucky me, I didn't run the entire front panel of the tank, but I tested just a small portion of it. It is still possible to see the scratched patches in the surface. As a bonus, the "small" is actually quite large. A full 3" long by 1" deep, as measured by the cleaning half of the magnet. It isn't including the weighted end at the bottom, which is a full 1" long by 3/8" It's impossible to manoeuvre this cleaning magnet around plants or decorations that are close to the walls of the tank without damaging these items. If I have to do a water change regularly, I think I may have to stick to using paper towels. The "small" might be perfect for larger - or most empty - tanks, but there isn't much reason to use it unless you have glass that can stand up to the abrasion caused by My opinion is that the coarse black pad should not be used- No matter how hard you try, it won't work.
This item was purchased for my 29 gallon So that I won't strike the decorations and fish, I get the small size on. Cleaning the glass with it is very effective. Even though I didn't know what to expect, I decided to try it out, and I am so When I clean it, I sometimes use the plastic (blue piece) side just to clean off some soft dirt. With the glass (black) piece I can remove more stubborn dirt from the aquarium. I've found they work quite well. My aquarium was filled with water, so I raised the fish in a bucket).
Easily removes old stubborn buildup, even the ones that seem impossible to remove The growth is coming up from the inside of the This cleaner works even better than I expected, and the felt pads on the part that is in contact with the glass do an adequate job of cleaning off any water spots and finger/hand prints from It is great to have finally gotten my hands on one of these things! As well as that, I have degenerative osteoarthritis, peripheral and small joints In addition to fiber neuropathy and hEDS (among other issues), these conditions make it very difficult for me to handle my hands well. This thing was a lot easier to use than I anticipated it would be. I was wondering if I would be able to use it. Using it was not easy, there were some times when I had to use both hands to make it move properly and I took a few short breaks before I finished, but I was able to clean all the algae off the front and one side of the aquarium before it was time to stop. Following my last day of work, I was able to finish the project the next day.
I've had no problems with it. It's a no-brainer It is hard not to love The item was purchased for use with my Fluval Flex 15 Gallon Reef Tank. br>The magnet is super strong, so you should watch your fingers if you put them together close to each other. The pads are made out of glass and acrylic. You will be able to pick it up easier if it falls heads up if it falls disconnected from the magnet while inside the tank. I like how it runs really smoothly and is really effective in cleaning the glass. There is no need to worry about replacing the pads when they wear out. It looks like a deck of cards and is about the size of a quarter. Does a good job of fitting into tight spaces. The best part is that it was a few dollars cheaper on Amazon than at PetSmart or PetCo. This is a recommendation.
A magnet has a high magnetic field. Although it did not initially impress me with its cleaning capabilities, after a minute or two it began to make more sense and worked very The process may take a few extra passes over thicker areas of algae growth, but it will work eventually. There are some areas it cannot reach in the corners, but this should not make it less effective. A thorough cleaning must be done before it can be used. The main feature of this product is its The use of it is also oddly satisfying. When used correctly, it does not scratch the glass. I found it to work with curved glass, so for those curious, yes it does. There are no problems using my Fluval Flex 15 gallon. It cleans the car pretty well. Not quite as well as the flat sides, but it's usually good enough. Thanks for reading.
