I worked for an existing PetSafe UGC system to add to it. just adopted a pitbull pup and since she is getting to the age now where she can learn to walk the UG fence that my other pet is used to, we can start working on training her. There are two large dogs in my home and they respond well to medium settings. Although the product could be smaller, it uses a 9v battery (I can recharge it) and lasts for a good length of time. The only problem I have with these products is that one of the posts comes off from time to time when my two doges roughhouse together. In this case, I would have to purchase a similar product as the one I am There is a bit of a cost associated with this because it only happens every few years or so. Considering my dogs literally pull each other around by the collar, I do not view that as a problem for the company.
