Questions & Answers

What kind of batteries are compatible with the collars for Sportdogs A ground fence system based on a standard dimensions Are you 100 percent sure that sportdog has 100 points?

PetSafe PUL-100 is a portable pet fence A 67 battery) can be used with the SportDog SDF-57 I believe 100A is a good power output. In comparison with SportDog's standard collar, the Petsafe collar has a much smaller diameter. It was just a matter of making this change on

What are the expiration dates of the batteries?

There has never been a date attached to an expiration. My batteries have never given me a problem. Since I have two dogs on my system, I go through my batteries more quickly than someone with just one. My wife and I have ordered them several times in the last year or so because they work great in every way. There will be no disappointment for you.

Batteries that are over three years old? If you try to use the first one, it does not ?

It is important that you turn off your box. Replace the battery in close proximity to the The box for the dog collar is on top. A button will appear, press it to change at what level you want your dog to be charged. In order to get a touch screen, I think you have to press the button six times, depending on your strength. Dogs can only travel a certain distance if the distance is adjusted. As soon as you are ready. You can choose either 1 or 2 on the collar as the light will blink according to your choice. It could be that your battery is dead if the light does not blink. With my order, I have never experienced a problem like that. If you have questions, you should contact the company.

I don't think it lasts as long as it should
3/5

As a dog owner, I was hoping that 6 of these would last me 3 months (3 months for each It is stated in the instructions that each battery should last 1 year This is the third month. It soon became apparent that I might be able to get two weeks of battery life out of each. Petsafe may be selling faulty batteries or these may be real Petsafe batteries, but either way, I am very disappointed that they did not last very long and are expensive. If I knew what the ongoing cost of their batteries would be, I would not have purchased my wireless fence. I found out my dogs were not properly secured when they escaped and ended up in the extremely busy road right in front of our house. It was the scariest thing I could imagine. The length of time they had not worked? My understanding of the situation is unclear. As the dogs suspected these collars worked the same as mine, they later discovered that they weren't working since their batteries had died. It was a very disappointing experience! I now have them on leads until I can figure out a way to buy these batteries or find something else that lasts longer! Thankfully, no dogs were injured and they are safe and sound.

The collars fit PetSafe collars perfectly and last a long time
5/5

We use these batteries for our two PetSafe dog collars and have done so for years. The quality of the product is quite good, except for the price, so I decided to take a chance and buy the off-brand Clearly, this was a bad decision! When the batteries stayed in, they did not last longer than a week because they did not fit perfectly. My dogs were running out of the yard because the batteries fell out from time to time. It is well worth the extra money you will have to pay for peace of mind and 3 weeks of reliability.

Had I gotten a wired system, it would have been much better
3/5

What the hell is up with these batteries if they last only In just one month, I have gone through the entire pack. What effect do they have? It is true. But the batteries die, so there is no way to tell which one is dead. When the battery died, the dog went into the street after hanging around in their yard. The neighbor brought the dog back after she was hanging out in their yard. Is it possible to use it with a charge in the battery? Yes, of course. There's no way to tell how long this system will last.

I cannot recommend it. I have no way of figuring out if my battery has The battery has a short lifespan and a high replacement cost. The battery is not.

The batteries we ordered were only half full
3/5

Despite the fact that I love my wireless containment system, I hate its In reality, they are simply CR2032 batteries, but they are packaged in a way that makes them so much more expensive. As soon as I computed the cost per battery for all of the different packs (this was the best option at the time), I decided to buy in bulk to save some money. They arrived today, but I only received 3 packs (6 batteries total), instead of the 6 packs (12 batteries total) I even received a box properly labeled with their information (see pictures), but the box is so small that I doubt they could have fit six packs Generally speaking, I love Amazon and this is the first time I've experienced an issue with them, but if I pay $34 for batteries, I ought to receive all of them and not just half.

Detailed review of battery life
5/5

I purchased 18 batteries (3 packs of 6), starting in January 2017. The last battery I used was a little worn out, so I was nervous about its performance. Some reviews claimed that the batteries didn't work or wouldn't last. Batteries worked and they worked well on all of them. The average battery life for me was 3 months. Not a single complaint in this regard. Make sure you don't let the reviews scare you away.

You need to get one of these for your puppy if you have one
5/5

In the past, we have used this with our puppy dog. The only thing we need to do now is to replace the She does not even need to be wearing her collar to stop at the fence since she is so familiar with it. If you are training a puppy, make sure to do it the right way and teach them their boundaries as soon as possible.

The right combination of reliability and toughness
5/5

Since he has been wearing this collar, our dog has been wearing batteries for approximately two These batteries are for the wireless fence and collar our dog wears. We have taught him his boundaries by using these devices. His gaze falls on a yard with no fence, and he stops at the boundary after he ventures outdoors. Since we underwent the training necessary, we have not had to worry about him wandering off. Whenever the battery is about to die, the receiver is emitting a beep, and the owner replaces it the moment he hears it. Owners MUST remember to remove the collar before taking the dog beyond his limits, whether they are in a car or walking their dog, as if the collar remains on him, he will get shocked once he is beyond his limits. The batteries I bought here for my dog will be put in his collars FOREVER! It takes each battery about 30 days to fully charge.

You get what you pay for
5/5

Make sure you buy these PetSafe branded batteries only. When I tried the inexpensive 12 pack of no-name batteries, they didn't last longer than a few weeks and lost power as they were placed in storage. As well as being no bargain, they created a slight vibration when they got low which caused the dogs to freak out.
