This set of flags is being used in order to train a new set of dogs on an existing invisible fence about 1.5 miles away. A quarter of our property is 25 acres. This is the type of flag we have used in the past. This time I was disappointed to see that the stakes are now cheap plastic instead of metal like in the picture and the ones I have used before. These are impossible to set into the ground without making a hole first. By using a screwdriver or ice pick, you can create a hole in the wall. The stakes and the flags are also smaller than they were before.
During the purchase of "PETSAFE" stakes, I found them to be white plastic and easily broken. Later, I was able to get flags with metal stakes with which I found generic flags. The safety aspect of metal legs sticking up out of the ground must be taken into consideration, however, since I could not find the metal stake when the plastic flags flew off
Hector, you asked a great question! For our pet containment systems, we are offering this listing for a set of 50 boundary flags.
You have a great question! Thank you so much! The flags on our fence systems are only used as training tools, and they do not influence the boundary in any way. It will be helpful for your dog to see the flags as visual markers as you teach them where the boundaries are, but you do not have to make just one out of flags. You may remove the flags once you are confident that your dog knows where its boundaries are once they have been trained. Although some people like to keep the flags up after training time, there is nothing wrong with this as well.

The size and height of boundary flags are half of what they usually are - It is worthless. Company located in your area). The first 100 flags he sent me turned out to be insufficient so I ordered more from Amazon, assuming they would be identical. It's a boundary flag if it's a boundary flag, This is incorrect. The length of these is approximately 10 inches. My only device that is half the height and half the size of everything else I have ever owned. If you were to plant one in the ground, it would likely be about 8 inches off the ground, so if you were to train a weasel or any other small animal You might be able to use them for a crawling creature. My view is that they are worthless, so I am returning them. Please take note It surprises me that they did not specify their overall height in the product description. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED. I might have missed it, but in any case EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Even if you were to MAKE tiny flags like these, what would be the point?.
It seems the flags will not rust, and the flags are a little short in comparison to the fence company's flags, but the dogs can see them fine. You should remember these things Dogs can only see the limits of their range by using these flags. A fence is not what you see here. Putting up a fence is a must. There is a dog watch system on my fence and these are simply replacement flags for the ones your fence company provided. A neighbor's dog may jump on you if your dog goes out. That fencing company is the subject of all those reviews. Despite the fact that these are top-quality flags, flags are just.
I have been ordering products from Amazon for the last three years, and these are the cheapest I have ever ordered from them. There is a light and sturdy plastic stem about the length of a swizzle stick that On top of that, we got a small amount of snow the other day (less than an inch) and most of it was barely perceptible. My order of 150 invisible fence stakes was a waste of money, I should have ordered directly from the invisible fence company.
When they are used with wireless collar systems, flags provide an attractive visual. I walked with her as I placed the flags with the collar in my hand. After I finished, I put the collar on her and put her on a leash. We went around all the flags and then we walked around She was made aware of the beeps on her first day and then was reminded on day two that she will be shocked as she approaches the flag. She used to love going for walks, but one day we were walking just on leash (not a collar) and as we approached the white flags down the driveway, she stopped and didn't want to continue walking (Totally unexpected having her love Although I had to to coax her, she was keeping her eye on the white flag the whole time. Now that she has learnt that it is o. k. to go through it. The dog keeps her distance from those flags when it is on a leash, but when she is wearing a collar, she looks at them! Having her run free gives me less concern while working from home, and it gives her greater freedom to run.
Posts should be made of metal, but they are not. While we were initially installing our electric fence, we went to Lowe's looking for these flags, but there were only orange construction/farming flags with thin metal wire for posts. These worked great. We lined our yard in orange flags and it looked funny, but it looked good. Having just gotten our new puppy, we made the decision to give these a try in order to make things look more attractive. Despite the fact that the posts are plastic, they work beautifully. In the summer, there was no rain for a whole week so I decided to install these. There was no fun to be had. The ground was too hard for me to place them exactly where I wanted, so they would snap where I wanted them. There was a little bit of water I had to dump on the dry areas, but when you hang flags every 10 feet every 1 foot, it ends up being insufficient. It's not much fun to own 5 acres. On the whole, they do the job. Our metal stakes were pulled out when we mowed, but we actually had the stakes set down for the purpose. With these, you can forget it. Rather than mow around them, we simply mow around them because they probably won't survive a second installation. After they arrived, no issues were experienced. My only regret is that I paid three times the price for these flags, which makes me wish they were Whenever I wear neon orange again, I will simply choose the same color.
After moving out to a neighborhood with few houses and a narrow lot that looked like a cliff, I was surprised to see one across the street from my house. Since I didn't want my dog to wander over there and possibly fall, I used these with the PetSafe wireless system. A week later, after passing through the barrier once, he was fully able to pass on his own. The death of my best friend a few months ago was an unfortunate event. I found my second best friend at a shelter and rescued him. It will be more convenient this weekend for me to train her because I will have more time to spend with her. I'm sure she will do well too. There is no question that these flags are very noticeable and remain in the ground well. I would definitely recommend them.
I had to train our new puppy to the invisible fence, and flags were a key part of the The flags are the same ones included with the program. For our yard, this was a good amount of flags. Historically I would have held onto the old flags, but now that we don't get new dogs that frequently, I'll just buy a new pack when we get the next dog in a decade.
However, the tubes are made of plastic, which does not work well. For them to come in, you will need soft ground, and they will easily fall over. You can bend them, but they will snap if you do. The old ones with metal poles could be thrown into the ground, reducing your bending over. Also, since the new ones are plastic, they are lightweight, so if you hit one, it will get sucked up into your mower pretty easily. Despite the fact that they are equal in function and durability, the metal ones are easier to use. To that point, if you go to a hardware store, instead of asking for these, you might want to ask for These are a set of metal rods and brightly colored flags that I found around tape measures, levels, and chalk lines. They have several different brightly colored flags available. It seemed to be the same price, too, and they are much easier and less messy to install. Plastic may only be used by PetSafe to avoid interfering with radio signals, which is the only reason I can understand why they use it. As far as I can remember, I didn't experience any problems when the installer used the metal flags to install my fence.
