Questions & Answers

Is this too big for my opening, which is only 37"?

Each panel measures 26" in diameter. A total of three panels are included. My door opening is also on the small side (but not as small as 37"), but I folded one of the panels onto another to make it appear as if there are only two panels. Remember that if you place the gate straight across the opening, it will not be stable. To keep it stable, it must be folded into a 'v' at the hinges, which adds to the gate's length. This is a nice-looking, well-built gate, but keep in mind that it is quite heavy if you need to pass through it frequently. To avoid scuffing the floor, you must slip fingers between wire posts and lift and swing one panel. While it appears to be quite large for a 37" opening, you might be able to make it work if you don't have any other options.

I have a cat that is about the size of a small kitten. Weight: 14 lbs Would he be able to get out by squeezing his way between the bars?

I agree with the majority of what has been said. br>Your cat will not be able to squeeze through the bars, but depending on how agile he is, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of him jumping them. A couple of my cats can jump to the top and then down the other side.br>Depending on how the gate is set in the opening, a larger cat may be able to push or pull it open from one of the sides. Because it's free, it's a no-brainer. It does not cling to anything when standing. With a persistent dog, this is unquestionably a problem.

Will this work with a 69" opening?

I have a 59" opening that works fine as long as I brace it at both ends with something heavy. 69" may not be enough zig-zag, but that depends on whether you're dealing with a large or small dog. 69" is suitable for standing as long as the animal does not try to push it with its paws. Also, if you could anchor one end of it, it would probably work.

Is it possible to set up the gate in an L shape?

Yes, the gate can be configured in an "L" shape. It's extremely adaptable and durable. Be aware that it is not a light item.

The ideal entrance – Making a swinging door out of it! This gate is fantastic! We've had golden retrievers for years and have always used pressure "baby gates" on our doors and stairwells
5/5

I was having trouble putting up and taking down the baby gate in front of the stairs after we got a new puppy. I had a habit of simply leaving it up and climbing over it. As I get older (and less coordinated! ), I'm finding it increasingly difficult to keep up with the ) is getting more difficult. This gate opens and closes in all directions. It's in front of the stairwell, and I use it as a door. The wood finish has gotten a lot of compliments, and I think the wood finish will last a long time, and the rubber feet on the bottom keep my wood floors from being damaged. I haven't had one of my three dogs knock it over yet (2 golden retrievers and a shrewd mutt)! If you're thinking about investing a little more in a gate that will last and look good in your home, this is a fantastic gate that I'm glad I bought!.

Pet gate made of cherry
3/5

My first rating was a five-star rating (see below). Since then, my viewpoint has shifted. This gate made my miniature dachshund a Houdini. We'd get home and she'd managed to get away at least five times. She was always able to move the gate and get out, no matter how we set it up. Because we have a tile floor, she may have been able to move it so freely because of it. We even tried wedges under the gate, but that didn't help. I was really hoping to fall in love with and keep this lovely gate. However, I had to give it back. br>br>I've recently moved into a new home with Cherry cabinets in the kitchen. a doorway with a width of 46 1/2" This pet gate is a perfect match for the cabinets. It has gotten a lot of positive feedback. It's a little taller than I needed, especially for a miniature dachshund, but it's the only size available. It's also worth noting that it's quite heavy to move around. It's unbeatable in terms of appearance!.

Majestic and Primetime Petz are two brands of free-standing folding gates
5/5

This and the Primetime Petz 360 Degree Z, Fold Configurable Gate are two different brands of folding gates that we've purchased in the last few months. Both were simple to assemble (just take them out of the box and place them where you want them). ) Both can fit through a large doorway (a double, French door size doorway). )br>The Majestic gate APPEARS to be more attractive. (It should given that it costs approximately 70% more. ) )br>I'm a big fan of the stroller. The Primetime gate has a through gate opening. You can open the walk-in closet door by adjusting the latch. It has a dark cherry finish that isn't at all unsightly, and it can be done with one hand. br>Because these gates are open to the public, they can be used at any time. They aren't foolproof when it comes to keeping the dogs in or out when they are standing. On a hardwood floor, the dogs can make the sections swing open if they want to get through badly enough. (We have a large and a medium-sized dog in our household. ) a medium-sized dog capable of both opening and closing the gate by pulling the section in their direction ) When we really want them to stay put, we put the gate's edge against a wall and a stool to make it more difficult for them to move. With a free-for-all, that's probably to be expected. A bad dog and a stooping gate br>To summarize, I'm very happy with the look and functionality of both of these gates. Either option is suitable for concealing a large opening while maintaining a pleasing aesthetic in your home without the use of hardware or complicated installation.

Gorgeous! I would purchase this product again
5/5

This is precisely what I was looking for. It's tough but still lightweight. Despite its weight, I find it to be relatively easy to move due to the ease with which the panels fold in on themselves. I've got it set up in my kitchen right now, blocking the fridge and stove. The ease with which I can gain access to this high-traffic area is what has impressed me the most. I used to have a gate system that was difficult to maneuver or step over. I simply open one panel of this gate with this method. It's almost as if it's a swinging door. It's absolutely stunning to look at, and it's long enough to completely enclose large areas of my home. Athena does not attempt to jump over it because it is tall enough. This is extremely difficult to come by. This gate comes highly recommended, and I intend to purchase another one in the near future. 'Five Paws' is a term used to describe a group of people.

Well-built, solid, lovely wood finish, strong hinges, and smooth operation
5/5

It's keeping our large dogs from wandering into the carpeted living room from the hardwood floors. This gate has a lovely classic design, and the wood doesn't look cheap in comparison to our hardwood floors and furniture. Despite the fact that our large dogs are capable of knocking it over, they recognize it as a barrier. The gate is strong enough to accept additional hinges to attach to a wall if necessary, but it is perfectly functional for us zigzagging to stand on its own. The dogs can lie on their mats in the foyer and watch us in the living room because of the design.

I'm so happy I got it! Beautiful, spacious, substantial, appealing, and simple to set up
5/5

I bought it to keep our puppy confined to a specific area of the house. I didn't expect it to look as good as it did. In and of itself, the gate is a lovely piece of decor. It's extremely durable (as long as it's arranged in a 'Z' or 'S' position with the weight evenly distributed - It could easily fall over if straightened out, but in a zigzag position, it is very stable). It's no problem for my cat to jump over it, but it's perfect for dogs (and probably small children as well). I adore it, and I'm so glad I purchased it!.

This is a lovely and refined entrance
5/5

This is a lovely and refined entrance. Heavy, durable rubber feet fold up neatly and are used to keep my cocker spaniels from going where I don't want them to go, as well as to keep general crownding nonsense at the door at bay. It is well worth the money. br>br>When the dogs jumped against the circular design and caught a toe, it was a hazard, but they immediately stopped jumping against the gate (or I would have taped the design part). It's worth keeping in mind. This is truly as lovely, functional, and appealing as it appears.

For cordoning off rooms, this is an attractive and fully functional option
5/5

This was an excellent way to keep pets out of the house when it was not in use. Your home's boundaries are limited. Dogs and cats will be kept at bay if the fence is raised high enough.
