Questions & Answers

My dog is a mix of a doxie and a basset hound. He is approximately 50 pounds in weight. In addition, he is completely deafeningly deafeningly Will the side rails assist you in navigating the ramp up and down?

Hello- Our dog is a pit bull mix who weighs around 80 pounds. He hasn't needed the side rails yet, but it took him a few days to get used to going up and down the stairs. I believe the side rail will assist him in maintaining his balance. We have the biggest ramp and are very happy with its stability and quality. Best of luck to you and your good friend!

What good is a rope if you don't know what it's for? What are the applications of it?

I've never used the rope before, so I'm not sure what it's for. This ramp has been in use for a few months, and my dogs and cat use it on a daily basis. I never change the height and rarely move the ramp, but if the ramp was in a tight space, I suppose you could use the rope to lift the bar that adjusts the height of the ramp without having to reach down there.

When the ramp is raised to accommodate a 30" tall bed, what is the angle of the ramp? Will a miniature poodle or bichon be able to handle it?

I'm not sure of the exact angle, but my two dachshunds seem to be able to navigate it just fine. My bed is 25" long, and the angle appears to be around 25-degrees. The temperature is 30 degrees.

What are the heights of the people in the 20" to 35" range?

My platform measures 19 1/2, 24 5/8, 28 1/2, 31 1/2, and 34 inches at the top edge of the trim around the platform, according to my measurements.

Excellent alternative to large beds for both small and large dogs
5/5

Because we have a doxie named George, it's critical that we look after his back. He is unable to climb onto the bed, and we have finally persuaded him that he is unable to jump off. Daisy, a beagle mix, and Ollie, a Portuguese Podengo, live with us. Daisy's jumping up on the bed has become more difficult as she has grown older. We had bought a cheap ramp about a year ago, but it was flimsy and quickly disintegrated. We decided on the Doggo after inspecting all of the available ramps. We purchased the larger dog ramp so that we can begin to provide Daisy with additional options. The young men jumped right in! They enjoy being able to get in and out of bed whenever they want. So if I wake up and they've slept in, I won't have to listen to them barking for me to come get them; they can simply come down. We also recently adopted a new kitten, Sally, who is having a blast and will wake up in the middle of the night to retrieve Ollie. They can go play for a while before returning to their respective beds. Daisy took a little longer to board, but I believe this was due to Sally hiding beneath it and swatting at her as she passed. This is also a solid piece of furniture; there is no particle board or mov in its construction. It was ready to use right out of the box (we only needed to add the rails), and it wasn't too heavy. This was a fantastic purchase, and I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the couch one.

Extraordinary - This is one you should buy
5/5

Our 55-pound hound mix, Toby, is nearly 14 years old and has mobility issues. He needed a ramp to climb up and down from our bed, so we built one for him. I must have spent at least six weeks on Amazon looking at every ramp, comparing features, and reading every single comment. Despite the fact that it was by far the most expensive, I am glad I chose it, and Toby now uses it on a regular basis (it took about a month). Why did I purchase it? br>br> These are my reasons: (1) it is well-made, with a wide ramp and a guard rail; (2) it is well-designed, with a wide ramp and a guard rail; (3) it is well-designed, with (2) It did not require any assembly other than the installation of the rails with wingnuts (note the following comments about other ramps indicating that this is a real issue: (3) It's appealing, and I was able to choose a color (teak) that worked well with the rest of the decor. Despite its size, it "fits" in our bedroom. Toby and the future will benefit from this investment. (4) They provide training materials and videos, as well as telephone support. As you train your dog, keep your health in mind. br>br>If I had to make one recommendation, it would be to purchase non-alcoholic beverages. If you have a hardwood floor like ours, use furniture grips (cheap) to secure the bed; do not use the rope because you will need to move it away from the bed to make the bed and change the sheets. This is the one to purchase. br>br> I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so for this.

This is an excellent ramp
5/5

At around the same time as I bought a big, king-size adjustable bed, one of my fur babies needed knee surgery. This new bed is much taller than my previous bed, and despite the fact that I have a set of dog stairs next to it, my dogs insisted on jumping off the bottom. When I first got the new bed, I was terrified that my dog would injure his surgically repaired knee, as well as my other dogs' knees, by jumping off the tall bed's end. I measured my bedroom to ensure that this ramp would fit, and despite the fact that it is the full length of the width of my new bed and a tight fit, I felt it was necessary to save my dog's knees, so I ordered it. br> My little dogs were hesitant at first, but my brave little Tippy, who is always curious, quickly warmed up to it. Then, not to be outdone, his younger brother began to employ it as well. My little puppy who had knee surgery is still using the stairwell on the side of the bed, but at least no one is jumping off the bottom! br> This ramp is actually quite lovely. The natural wood finish was what I requested. Straight out of the box, it was simple to set up. Because the ramp is so large, I strongly advise you to measure the area where you plan to install it. It's extremely well-made. I'm confident it'll last the rest of my life. br> If you have an older dog with mobility issues or a dog with knee problems, this ramp is a must-have. Place a high-value treat at the top of the ramp, and I'm confident your babies will enjoy it as much as mine did. br> One of the review options was to rate the ramp's maneuverability on a scale of one to five stars. Only because it's so big did I give it four stars. I carefully slide it to the side and vacuum underneath it, but this thing will not move. I recommend that you choose a location where you plan to leave it and set it up.

Great, but make sure your dog is properly trained! For my large, three-wheeled vehicle, I needed a strong, sturdy ramp
5/5

dog with four legs She's missing a front leg, and getting up dog stairs and onto our high bed has become increasingly difficult for her as she's gotten older. This ramp is sturdy and does an excellent job of supporting her. However, strictly adhere to the manufacturer's instructions and devote the time necessary to properly train your dog. I was in a hurry, so I hurriedly erected the ramp and attempted to instruct her on how to use it. Because we have hardwood floors, each clunky, heavy step she took made a lot of noise, which scared her. I should have started with it flat and gradually raised it, as the directions stated, so she wouldn't be afraid. We've worked through it, and she does a good job with it, but I'm kicking myself for being in a rush because she occasionally leaps from the ramp onto the bed when she's near the top. It was a good lesson. LISTEN TO THE INSTRUCTIONS AND FOLLOW THEM! This is a fantastic, sturdy, and well-made piece of furniture. made a ramp for a big dog who needs to get to a lot of high places - The money was well spent!.

Thank you very much! Another story for another day, but my 11-year-old best friend, with whom I first crossed paths when he was 4 months old, tore his ACL last year and is no longer able to safely reach or exit the end of the bed where he has slept since then
5/5

DoggoRamps was recommended to us by a coworker, and while I was initially hesitant because of the cost, I couldn't be happier with the improved quality of life it has provided for him. It took a few days of training, but he's been happily using it on his own since then, and I'm confident that the reduced impact on his joints will add years to his life.
