I suspected we would encounter the issue previously reported by another reviewer, even though this gate is sturdy and attractive. It turned out that the dog could fit through the cat door, just fine. Although I had ordered the gate anyway, I had a potential solution in mind based on something that was mentioned in a review for another product. Having said that, I initially panicked when I pulled it out of the box and saw the frame was bent, but it has been specifically designed in this manner. I didn't pay attention to the directions, because I am a male. I would have been able to make sense of things if I had done so! The bend in the frame is essentially used to prevent the gate from moving when it is opened by doing so, you actually keep it in place. Apart from that little glitch, the gate is extremely easy and pleasant to set up, and it looks pretty nice, and the dog has a harder time eating.

The gate we have chosen is one of our favorites! It's been about a year since we bought it, and it's held up really well The material is very durable. As I am 5'11" to 6'4" tall in our house, I wanted a tall gate that would not require me to bend over It was originally purchased to block off access to certain areas from dogs while still allowing access to cats. It took me about six months to open the cat doors. The cat door can cause some problems if you open the gate with the cat door open, because you can trip on the cat door, or the cat door will hit your shin if you open it the "other" Despite the cat door being narrow, our foxhound squeezed through without any trouble. In the end, I had my husband cut off one of the metal bars on As a result, I can keep the doors closed while the cats can still move around on the ground In addition, the foxhound could not get through so small an opening had been created. I'm not sure what to make of this My German Shepherd could not leap over this gate, even though a cat was allowed through. Product is sturdy and is the only gate tall enough for my dog to not jump over it. One of the posts would have been five stars if not for the irksome sticker that wraps around both sides. There is an enormous weight attached to it that makes removal extremely difficult. A freaking unpeelable sticker on what amounts to a semi-dry piece of fruit shouldn't take up an hour or more of my time An item of furniture that is permanent in nature. There are two stickers on it. Each side gets its own. One is easy to remove and does not require tools. It's the last one, however, that makes me beyond frustrated. If you want something handy, have googone on hand or something similar.
