As soon as you attach the original gate to either of the 10" or 21" gates, they are both adjustable. Original order was for the 10" extension, but the 10" came short. The 21" tee fit perfectly even though we had to get the 21". This gate is so beautiful! There is no rust on it, and it is very sturdy.
