Questions & Answers
Top of the flap there are screw holes for attaching the flap to the case. There should be a metal strip on top of the dog door frame that falls out when you remove the old flap. This is what I used.
To make my dog door work properly, I bought two flaps one for the inside, one for the outside. Overall, the dog door is working well. Despite the fact that I have four very large huskies that have ripped them in a full run, they have so far avoided any damage.
I do not know. A dog door insert has to be replaced, and I ordered this as a replacement. I am spot-on with my measurements. Using screws to hold the flaps on a sliding glass dog door should work, I would think
The process is so simple. Amazon is a good place to get started. On the way there, I visited Kohls Amazon kiosk. I don't think it needs to be packaged. The bar code you receive from Amazon is unique. We have completed the Kochs scan. After leaving the store, the processed items will be ready for you

It was a perfect I am inclined to think that it is thicker and more durable than PetSafe brand replacement flaps. 9 months elapsed since the original flap was removed. With regards to durability and lifespan, I'm confident that this is going to beat the original. Additionally, the price is significantly lower.
There is a strong odor that still remains despite it being installed since two weeks ago. The other thing that makes this door more solid than a Pet Safe door is its stiffness. I can't get it to close all the way because it is so stiff. I'd like to talk about the most important thing It gets harder as it gets colder. It was the first below freezing day today and the dog went through without causing the flap to break. * Note If you live in an area that does not get below freezing, you might be able to use it. On the other hand, I would steer clear of the north.
I have a door that has two flaps through the wall and will be ordering a second snaps into place securely due to its high strength, and the heavier plastic snaps into place steadily. I hope this one does not warp or twist out of shape like that one. There are two big dogs in my house who just blow right through the door all the time, so the wood was very damaged. Let me know if you need anything- My next review will be in a few months, so let me know how it is doing.
Maybe even more durable than the original one, but I haven't noticed much difference just yet since I've only had it a couple of days. Despite being easy to install, the screws came out on the first attempt. Holes were too large and three of five screws were lost during installation. As for the washers, I found some around the house, and those seemed to do the trick, but they really need to include them with the product or make the holes.
The doggos are free to roam the yard so we use a doggy flap a lot. This one fits my PetSafe door and is easy to install. In fact, it even had an OEM logo but no mention that it was the original equipment manufacturer. The first time you see something is awesome! It is just a matter of being prepared to replace or repair it when it breaks. Every year, the price goes up by about $4. Approximately 14 to 18 months after it is used, it tends to become rigid, and its sides may curl inward, which is when it ceases to seal That might be because of our weather, but it would be great if it had more durability. Since previous attempts snapped off, I still haven't come up with a solution to reverse the curl. Flexibility is no longer an option. There is a possibility that the magnets will come out, but they can be glued back in and the strip holding the unit to the rail tears away, but it can be taped back in, though it's not attractive. This flap is one I order from different sellers every year. The winner is whoever has the cheapest price. The winner in 2019 was Amazon. It will be interesting to see if this happens again.
I had no trouble installing the door because it fits well. And that's all I have to say. I had a problem with it just two weeks after its installation. Due to a failure of the plastic around the screw holes, the holes grew so large that they exceeded added washers to ensure the washers would have more surface area and therefore be less likely to break. The washers used to work for a week or two before the plastic finally broke. Suddenly, I have a door in which all the screw holes are broken all the way to the top, so it no longer holds In contrast to my original flap, which lasted 2 years before it broke, this one only lasted 2 weeks before it was completely useless. Purchase it at your peril, it is of bad quality. Most of the positive reviews I've read were from right after installation, when it started working and looked great. Once a couple of weeks have passed, the story will change.
A fine match is made between the replacement door and the older one. I am impressed with the quality of the product. As a result of the design of the original door, the installation can be somewhat tricky. Here are a few bits of advice 1, Use a magnet to attach the five screws that hang from the flap with a magnet nearby. ** 2. If the flap is held down by a plastic bar on the inside of the door, treat it gently. There is a high chance that the flap bar will also need to be replaced if the flap is being replaced. A small peg on the bar on the bar broke off, which I tried to fit through the holes on the flap to repair. It was glued back together with superglue. 1. 2. 3. Trying to align the screws while holding the flap up is really challenging. I managed to align the screws through the gap in the flap by using some painters tape. I then inserted the screw into the plastic bar and carefully guided it through the hole in the flap. It would have been better if there had been a helper. The original seems to be intact.
A second flap is needed as soon as possible. In the upper left corner, the flap has a chunk missing, and the right side of the flap is not straight, allowing air to pass through. Approximately one month after I installed the new flap, it still works perfectly. The other day. There are a variety of problems with it. Because of the brittleness, the flap has become hard and brittle, and the holes are torn on the top of it at the point where it attaches to the dog door. As the fan has only been installed for about a month, I would like to request a replacement. If you could reply to the complaint, I'd appreciate it. It is cold outside and the flap on the dog door is not closing. My current computer needs to be replaced as soon as possible. Contacting Amazon to inform them of what happened will be my next step.
