It is a disappointment to me that there is no pet gate available. As I read the reviews before I bought the gate, I thought it was of good quality. My 10 week old puppy can move the gate with her paw easily, so she needs a little assistance to get out. In order to prevent it from moving so easily, the gate should be weighted or have some type of rubber bottom. We can't use the gate in any way.

Considering it would be in the area where my guests can see it and be on my main living floor, I wanted something that looked nice. Certainly, this gate gets the job done, as it looks good and is functional As soon as you get it installed, it stays in place. It has not been broken by my old girl, and so far she has not been able to reach the garbage or gum or socks!.

It really is a free standing gate, so if she is aggressive, it would obviously fall over. It looks very nice, too.

It isn't aggressive enough for my pets to try to push the gate out of the way, but rather too lazy. You may want to check the height measurements, because I imagine a larger cat or dog might attempt to jump over or push it over. For me, it works perfectly. A plastic gate does not perform as well as this one. There are two different door openings in my home that required both three-panel and four-panel shutters. The next time I buy, I will.

While I was debating ad nauseam what kind of baby gate could possibly solve an issue of mine, I stumbled upon this product. My dog can't leap over it because it is just tall enough to cover the entrance and is more than long enough to cover the entrance. They would need to leap over this with a running jump if I had 2 pitbulls. Sadly, they are out of luck because there is no room for that. As long as I'm careful, even I can step over this. I'm 5'1" and I'm no problem. They are easy to install, and they can be easily taken down if necessary. You do not need any tools to do this.
