Diggs Revol Dog Crate (Collapsible Dog Crate, Portable Dog Crate, Travel Dog Crate, Dog Kennel) for Small and Medium Dogs and Puppies

We're getting a puppy in two days and were undecided about which crate to get. We wanted our puppy to be safe, so we researched wire crate horror stories. So I found this crate after doing some research. br>br>From the YouTube videos, it appeared that setting up would be a breeze. But, to be honest, we were let down. It took us a long time to expand the crate from its collapsed state because the top section's edges scraped and shaved some plastic from the vertical pillars. We finally got it expanded after a little tugging. The rest of the features were functional, so I figured I'd try collapsing it to repeat the process in case I'd made a mistake the first time. The crate wouldn't collapse smoothly (which I consider a win because I don't want the crate to fall on my puppy). I was able to get it down after another ten minutes of tugging and some scraped plastic. The ease of operation was the most compelling reason to invest in a premium crate. The design is fantastic, but the quality control is lacking, as evidenced by the final product. br>br>We don't mind spending money on high-quality items; This product, on the other hand, leaves much to be desired. br>br>Update No. 1: 12/17 - The crate is holding up well with our rambunctious puppy, but due to the aforementioned issues, we use it less as a mobile crate and keep it set up in a single location. There are no concerns about safety.

This was purchased for someone who was traveling with her pug, but it is far too heavy to be used as a travel crate. Furthermore, rolling it while folded down necessitates holding it at an awkward angle. Finally, the person for whom I purchased it was concerned that the top would fall on her dog. Unfortunately, it's a complete flop, and I'll be returning.

First and foremost, the packaging is meticulous, and setup instructions are included as soon as the box is opened. YouTube also has a number of excellent demonstration videos. I was blown away by the quality and delighted that it looks even better in person than it did in the photos. I got the small, and it's just right for my 10-pound dog. The door latch is by far my favorite feature. It's incredibly simple to open and close with one hand. I don't plan on collapsing it very often, but it's nice to know that it can (and that it's very easy to do) if I ever need to take it somewhere with us. In addition, the company has been very responsive to a few of my questions. I'm so glad I invested a little more in this high-quality crate. My new Diggs is a big hit with my puppy!.

So when this arrived, the box was open, the crate itself was not in any Diggs packaging, and the box was not secure in the box. It had a worn appearance and a musty odor to it. Having said that, I don't think it's Diggs' fault that it was sent the way it was. br>This is a fantastic crate; however, the wheels are too small for me to give it four stars. The bottom of the cage, where the wheels are located, drags on the ground, making wheeling impossible. For such a high-priced crate, I'd expect it to work.

I don't have to be concerned about my dog getting out of his crate; It has a sturdy latch and is well-made overall. Setting it up is a breeze. as soon as you've gotten it in place However, it's heavy, and I planned on rolling it from my car to the training center using the wheels. Instead, I'm forced to carry it, and I'm concerned that it'll strain my back one of these days, as heavy weights have been known to do. So, if you're not particularly strong or have a weak back, I'd advise against purchasing this, at least in its current form. And I'm hoping that if/when a design fix is released, it will be retrofitted to my [expensive] model! (Note: No, this was not a "verified purchase" because I bought it directly from the manufacturer.

This $245 item was damaged when it arrived - So much so that I mistook it for a new one. See pics. When I contacted Diggs for help, they had the audacity to sign me up for spam without my knowledge or consent. And now it appears that each email interaction is followed by a survey email - Given the number of email interactions I've had to have as a result of Diggs' bumbling, that's a lot of unwanted unsolicited emails, which I told them I didn't want them to send me. Diggs offered me a discounted crate cushion in response to my dissatisfaction with the damaged product and spam. They said it would be delivered in 5 business days after I placed my order. 14 days ago, I placed an order for it - Despite this, I still don't have it, and there's no way of knowing when I'll get it. Why? Because Diggs has refused to send me a shipping/tracking link despite at least three requests in the last ten days. So, 14 days after placing my order, I have no idea if Diggs has shipped the item that was supposed to arrive in 5 business days, whether it's due to damaged product, poor customer service engagement and follow-up, or a combination of the two. This company could care less about their customer experience, which is a complete failure at every touch point, from delivering product within the quoted time frame to signing me up for spam and sending me repeated survey emails. The item appears to be well-constructed - However, the trouble isn't worth it.

Setup and dismantling are both extremely simple. Ours is left ajar. br>For me, one CON is that the Snooz pad that came with the crate doesn't quite fit/fill the bottom completely. I believe this is due to the removable tray, which leaves the corners and sides open. I wish they had made it so that you could choose whether you want the removal tray or not. br>It's well-made, and I'm comfortable leaving my dog inside. It also has some nice features, such as a larger side entry that you can roll up and lock. Alternatively, you can use the door at the end. Nice looking as well, and it goes perfectly with our decor; I would definitely recommend it.
