Questions & Answers

Can a teacup mixed fit in this cage?

There'd be plenty of space in a teacup. I have a chihuahua, and I made a house for her. It's something she really enjoys.

Is a divider included in the crate?

There isn't a divider between the two rooms. It is one of the best cages I've ever owned, and my cats enjoy playing in it! I put a four-wheeled furniture mover underneath it, and now I can move the cage wherever I want. I was about to place an order for a second one for my cats:

Is it big enough for an adult French bulldog to fit in? Isn't she about 18 pounds?

Yes, but it'd be a tight squeeze. Your dog will appreciate the extra space if you upgrade to the next size dog crate. My Maltese is under 10 pounds and fits when laying on her side, nose to tail, which is 24 inches long? A crate large enough for an 18-pound Frenchie, I believe.

I'm not sure what size crate bed I need. ?

I decided to buy something. br>Snoozzy Polka Dot Baby Bumper Bed Size 2000 pink by Precision Pet. br>Amazon has it in a 25x20 format. br>An email was sent to you. I wish I could figure out how to put a photo on the internet. It's so cute!

The crate is cute, but the metal attachments are dangerous! This is a really cute crate that arrived exactly when it said it would
3/5

The pink is exactly the same as it appears in the photo! br>br>However, keep an eye out for the crate's sharp metal attachments! Our story is as follows: br>br> Since I had given my dog a Kong toy filled with peanut butter, I decided to clean the pink bed that I purchased with this crate the day before. I was only trying to get the peanut butter off of her bed. When I took the pink bed out of the room and looked underneath it, I noticed what appeared to be blood stains. My husband and I couldn't figure out why there were blood stains UNDER the bed rather than ON the bed. On the crate's base plate (which comes with the crate), there was also some dried blood. We sniffed it to see if it smelled like peanut butter, but it smelled and looked exactly like blood. I immediately called my mother to see if she noticed any cuts on our dog's body (my mother was watching our dog for us last night while we were busy moving into our new home with a toddler). She mentioned that our 8-pound toy poodle, Lulu, has been licking her paws constantly. We assumed she must have caught her paws on the cage somewhere, as well as scratched her bed, causing it to be lifted up and bled onto it. But we were curious as to what had caused her to bleed so profusely. My husband began to examine the crate more closely, and then, bam! Our solution has been discovered. She had clearly been cut by the sharp metal on the crate (there are six separate metal attachments, each about an inch long). They are VERY sharp if you feel them. Sharp enough to make any dog's paws bleed if they rub them against it. I'm not saying this is dangerous for all dogs because not all dogs scratch the crate like mine does, but if your dog is new to crate training and has a tendency to scratch the crate, this is a serious issue. Duct tape was applied to the metals right away. I hope this serves as a warning to potential buyers, and that this company addresses the issue. I'll make an attempt to get in touch with them. Thank you for taking the time to read my review; I hope you found it useful.

Sharp joints and ends should be avoided at all costs
3/5

First and foremost, the crate's color is lovely, it's the perfect size for my Frenchie, and it's incredibly simple to put together. The joints, on the other hand, are almost all sharp and pointed. The ones closest to the door are the most concerning. A sharp piece of metal protrudes from the door in the photograph I included. br>br>I had to file down all of the joints until they were smooth and I was confident that my dog wouldn't cut herself while walking in and out of the crate. br>br>I wasn't expecting top-notch service for the price of the crate. notch. However, I expected the crate to be secure once it was set up.

It easily accommodates two small dogs
5/5

For my two female dogs, this is an excellent crate. This cage is designed for one small dog, but it can easily accommodate two. My two dogs, a 12 pounder and a 10 pounder, both fit perfectly in this crate. The door latch is smooth and easy to use. The pull-out tray is a convenient feature, particularly if you have short arms and need to clean the tray. I've included a photo of my dogs so you can get a sense of their size and whether or not they'll fit comfortably inside this crate together.

I'm not sure why, but my dog prefers this crate to her previous one
5/5

My dog couldn't stay in her previous crate for more than a minute without becoming agitated and destructive. Please, no more whining. I tried to crate train her from the day she arrived, but eventually gave up. Crates were her least favorite thing in the world. I'm tired of her crying in the middle of the night to get into my bed, and it's been two years. So, with my fingers crossed but low expectations, I purchase this adorable pink crate. br>It took me less than a minute to put it together. Easy. Placed in a new bed that was a perfect fit. Easy. I spent the entire day tossing her favorite toy into it, only for her to retrieve it and give me a dirty look. I still had low expectations by the time it was time to go to bed. She walked right in and sat down after I gave her a gentle nudge and told her it was time for bed. Whaaaaat? It's the first time that's happened. br>It's been a month, and she hasn't cried in her crate. which she used to do EVERY NIGHT when I had her on the floor in a bed! This works for some reason that I don't understand. Perhaps she prefers the confined feeling to a simple bed on the floor because it's more open and airy than her previous crate. Whatever it is, I am grateful that I am no longer awoken in the middle of the night. This small bed fits perfectly in the crate: br>br> br>Premium 6" Thick Orthopedic Dog Bed | Pure Premium Memory Foam | Ideal for Aging Dogs | Waterproof | Aids Arthritis Pain Hip Dysplasia | 180 GSM Removable Washable Coverbr>br>My dog is an 8-pound chiweenie, and while the crate is a little large, she has enough room to walk around in a circle or stretch out. I could have gotten one in a half-size, but she would have been extremely tight.

Pink is the color of my little princess
4/5

and it accomplishes its goal! Fantastic and very quick to put together. It is literally unfolded in front of your eyes. It's a pepto-blend color. It's made of bismol pink and held together with metal clamps. I tried to manipulate one with a pair of pliers to see how strong it was, but I couldn't; I wanted to ensure that my 5-pound puppy was safe and secure. The pan cannot be slid out from the bottom; instead, it must be lifted out of the door. The wire bottom isn't as closely spaced as the wire on the rest of the kennel, so it doesn't really have a bottom without the pan. My dog would fall out the bottom if I didn't pick up the kennel with the pan. It's a standard-sized small dog kennel; the pink is powder coated, but that doesn't rule out the possibility of chipping. There were a couple of small chips, which is normal. The paint will not easily chip off; instead, the kennel will need to be smashed with a hammer or slammed against something extremely hard. It's exactly what I was looking for. br>br> My little puppy has a pink kennel. She doesn't seem to mind, which I find endearing. It accomplishes the task at hand.
