Questions & Answers
Yes, it comes with two leashes for attaching the harnesses of two dogs in the car. It really works.
Yes, this is excellent quality and will help to ensure the safety of my two dogs while driving without distracting me; it is the ideal solution for my car's single usable seatbelt.
It would be too heavy if it weighed less than 10 lbs, in my opinion. It is unlikely that you will require something so powerful. This works wonders for my two 80-pound dogs who are extremely strong. The swivel is fantastic because it allows them to easily switch sides without becoming tangled.

She slid down the side of my car's paint, slipping out. If it hadn't been for her harness, she might not have survived. She'd been splat on the cement (we were going about 40mph) when this clip was fastened around her waist. I'm so glad I purchased a dual seat belt clip for them! Outside the car, she was practically hanging upside down! This clip is designed for two dogs, but it can also be purchased for one dog. Her life was saved because of this clip!! It happened in the blink of an eye! With the bungied harness, it bungied her on the side of the car, upside-down. clip that has been bungled It's an absolute must-have!! ** Harness is also required!.
I don't believe this product is deserving of a one-star rating simply because it did not work for me. It's a great idea, but it's not going to work for my two dogs. This has been my personal experience with it, and it has not been pleasant: br>br>When I bought this double dog tether, I thought it would be a great idea to tether the two dogs to only one seat belt buckle while we were on the road. Because we have a truck, there are only three buckles in the back cab. Two of the buckles go to each of the two kids, leaving us with two dogs and one buckle to share. Isn't getting a double tether an excellent idea? NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO I bought it a few weeks before our trip so I could give it a few test drives. The buckle fit perfectly, and I jumped into the driver's seat for our first test drive, but I couldn't even get out of the driveway. They were so entangled in each other's tether that I was afraid one of them would be strangled or have a limb broken. But wait, according to the product description, this tether will not tangle with dogs. I'm sorry, but you're wrong once more. My two pooches disproved that theory in less than a minute. This may work for some dogs who are calm and well-behaved, but my Goldendoodle and Whippet were not interested in a relaxing ride in the back seat. It was a complete shambles. I couldn't even take a video or photograph of them (which I like to do for reviews) because I was concerned for their safety. So I put it in a box and retuned it.
I'm a dog walker, so I need to be able to get around quickly and safely. My Ford F 150 has no problems with it.
I like that the dogs don't get tangled up in each other and have to move a shorter distance. They remain at ease and in a secure environment. We recently returned from an 11-day visit to see family and had no issues. br>The SlowTon double dog leash is long-lasting and simple to operate. All you have to do now is hook it into the middle seat belt hook and you're good to go.
This is fantastic. It aids in the confinement of my puppies. It, on the other hand, does not adjust to make it shorter. My dachshunds require it to be a few inches shorter. They can still jump onto the dash with their front two paws and cause havoc. (It's the equivalent of turning off the air conditioning in the middle of summer. ) yow)br>Because my naughty boy jumps out of the car as soon as the door opens, he hung himself for a brief period of time with that on. Again, it's most likely a problem with a small dog. Just fyi. br>However, this is a good product. If my dogs were taller, perhaps the straps would be the right length. Ha! br>br>Would buy again if that were the case.
It's long-lasting, but it's possible that it's too long. As a result, I force my two dogs to ride in the back seat with the windows rolled down. I bought these because I realized they could be dangerous. They are sturdy, but I believe they are too stretchy and long. My Siberian huskies can only get half of their bodies out the window, so they can't completely jump out. So now I only crack about 5 inches, just enough for them to poke their heads out, and that's it.
This seat belt was ideal for keeping them in their seats and out of my lap while I was driving. They can look out the window because the belt is long enough, but not so long that they are jumping in the floor or all over the car. My husband's truck will be getting a new one.
This is what we used for our toy and miniature Aussies. I believe the length should be a little shorter or adjustable. With this tightened to the maximum allowable, our dogs had a little too much room to teach things. The seatbelt, on the other hand, is fantastic.
