Well, I believe it will fit an older car or truck. The clip would have to fit into the holder for the seatbelt. Then, if you can buckle under the seat belt holder to go around the seat belt ribbon, that would be great. My dog weighs 48 pounds and my son weighs 70 pounds. You could inquire about the year it belongs to from the seller. If it doesn't work after you try it, I'm sure it can be returned. Obtain a call tag by dialing a number. They'd send you a label via email. I also wear a harness when I do that. Do not attach to the dog's collar Amazon has a variety of reflective dog harnesses.

I had to go back. On the surface, it appeared to be a good product. Because my dogs like to jump out of the truck, I used these. However, the black metal latch that connects the seat to my 30 pound doodle was broken on the first use.
Because he has an old car, it works fine for him.
Very simple to usebr>I love that my dog can now sit comfortably in the back seat and look out the window without bothering the driver.
Although it appears to be sturdy, the stretchy part has very little 'give,' which would be critical in the event of an accident. Returning without having used.
It's extremely simple to use. Although the seatbelt buckle did not fit my vehicle, the other clasp was secure in its connection with the car seat anchors. The leash connection was excellent, and the safety 'lock' was particularly appealing. I would strongly suggest it.
It's extremely well-made and appears to be indestructible.
This was given to me because my lab is a nervous rider. She didn't have to use much force to unclip it from the seat belt; that's just a dog turning around in the seat, or attempting to do so. Not even close to the force that would be generated by a collision.
