This harness and clip are ideal for dogs weighing 24 pounds or less; my schnauzer is 27 pounds. I feel a lot better about her being in the backseat with this harness on, especially if the window is down or we're coming to a stop quickly.
It would be determined by the size of your car. Because the leash is adjustable, you can take measurements from the bottom of the headrest to the areas of the seat you're interested in and compare them to the lengths the leash can go. If you have a small vehicle, I'm sure you could make it long enough to reach the middle and far side; even at its shortest length, it's still quite long, so it might reach the other side.
Using a harness makes it much safer. In the event of an accident, just a collar will strangle them. And yes, my large dog in the backseat gets tangled up, but she manages.
I only use it in the back seat, and it works great for keeping my dog out of the front!

I thought the price for two was far too low to be of good quality. Pictures don't do it justice, so I figured I'd give it a shot and come back if it didn't work. On every level, it was a pleasant surprise. This works for my Chihuahua and Maltese, who both have custom booster seats with different sized head rests permanently installed in the front passenger and back center seats. What a fantastic product at such a low cost - It doesn't get any better than this! I spent 30 minutes navigating this website in order to give it a rating. If I could, I'd give it a ten-star rating. It'd be a fantastic present!.
It appeals to me greatly. It comes with two, so we won't have to remove them if my husband and I switch cars, as we did with the car seat. We could have purchased two, but I didn't want to because I knew she would quickly outgrow them. Each of us can have one for each vehicle. She won't be able to outgrow this, which is nice; she might outgrow the front seat, but these can be used in the back seat as well. If you want to use a harness instead of a collar, this is the way to go. My dog likes to lay down, and with just the collar on, she was getting a little choked. For her, the harness was far more comfortable. Also, if we were in an accident, I wouldn't be as concerned about her neck. This isn't very long, but that's part of what makes it safe. My dog loves it because it's simple to use.
Looks great, is sturdy, delivers quickly, has a lot of different applications (short leash, hanging from headrest, buckled into seat belt attachment), comes in a two-pack, and is ridiculously cheap!br>br>I first bought two in purple because my girl likes to ride in style. I gave one to my teen dog walker as a present for her puppy. br>br>Then I ordered a two-pack of black back seat covers for transporting puppies and grand puppies. br>br>These are fantastic! These are fantastic. They'd make a wonderful gift for dog owners who travel with their furry companions.
I enjoy driving around with my small dog, but it's extremely dangerous because she tries to sit in my lap all the time. Because she's so small, she'd almost certainly be seriously injured in even a minor car accident. This is fantastic! It keeps her super stable, even when there are a lot of stop signs, and I believe it would keep her safe in the event of an accident. I'm so happy I got this for my little one!.
This car leash is ideal. So far, I've gone through two car leashes for my Labradors (both 100 lbs. ). ) So far, these have proven to be the most effective, as the dogs are able to jump from the front to the back seat without becoming tangled. I'm still waiting to see how long they'll last, but so far, so good.
This has proven to be extremely beneficial. When I'm driving, my puppy wants to get into everything, so it keeps him mostly in one place. It would keep him from crashing into the dashboard if I came to a sudden stop, but it's important to note that this only works with a harness, not a collar. If the dog is wearing a collar, the collar may cause the dog's neck to break in the event of a sudden stop.
In the event of an accident or even a quick stop, I believe they would be extremely useful. They were simple to install (both of my dogs sit in the passenger seat next to me), and when I'm riding with someone else, I simply leave them in place and turn them toward the back seat. This purchase has made me very happy.
We bought these for our granddogs to use when they come to stay with us. I didn't want it in the seatbelt because I was afraid they'd step on it and disconnect it, but it worked perfectly on the headrest. I purchased the mighty paw harness and tested it with just one dog, who remained seated. We also got a new car, and the middle seats are buckets, so he was a little confused about not being able to move around the entire seat. I believe these will be quite successful.
