Mine has never caused me any problems, and it worked perfectly on my small dog.
All of the threads I use are designed to be worn in direct sunlight or under artificial light. They don't fade and are colorfast. A normal period of time for any pet collar (due to a pet's activity, they are very hard on the item) is one year or more, but a well-made product like mine should last much longer.
In the box, there should be instructions. Try googling it if you don't know what it's called.
You can control how sensitive your dog's bark, growl, and beep and shock are.

My dogs bark a lot, and they bark at a high volume. I felt bad for my neighbors to the point where I felt sorry for them. I'd only let one out at a time, and I'd call them back in as soon as they'd finished. My dogs enjoy being outside, and I felt bad about it. Collars that vibrate? My dogs are intelligent and tenacious, so they knew it would end after a while. I was forced to wear shocking collars. Yes, the collar gives them a static shock, but they quickly learn that they must remain silent while wearing it. br>br>OK, so I have two dogs. One is a vizsla mix (50 shorter hair, very lean). This is the one I use for him. It's very effective, and he was a VERY obstinate (non-cooperative) individual. He didn't pay attention to the ones who made an impression on him). The other dog is a Labrador retriever mix. A 100-pound neck, thick fur, and a large amount of extra skin - The contacts don't reach his skin because they're too short. If your dog is as large as mine, spend a little more and get the SportDog "NoBark 10. " The contacts on that collar are a little longer. br>br>Now they can stay outside until they want to come in, and I won't have to worry about them annoying the rest of the neighborhood.
A dog with a low pitched bark is most likely the best fit! The set up was very simple, and the instructions were simple to understand. The collar can be adjusted and cut to fit your needs; some users have reported that the ends of the collar greyed after cutting, but this can be avoided by melting the ends with a lighter. We didn't have a problem with it. The product isn't as bulky as some bark collars, and it comes with two sets of prongs to ensure the right depth for reaching the dog's skin, even through thick fur! The shock setting option was excellent, and the vibration and warning beep helped to reduce the dog's barking. This was purchased as a gift for a pug. We were hoping that the device would reduce the sounds of the pug's constant "woofs" (not a true bark, but more of a huffing grumble). It'd probably be best for a dog with a deeper, low-pitched bark. My son would make a low barking sound, and the device would vibrate or shock as described every time; the shock level is also adjustable, which helps a lot depending on your dog's size!.
This bark collar is extremely effective. What I like about it is that it emits an audible beep to warn the dog that if he continues to bark, he will be shocked. (As a result, if they remain silent, they will not be surprised. ) ) This is the first dog collar with that feature that I've tried. He was zapped a couple of times the first night, and I could tell he didn't realize it was due to his barking. He quickly learned to stop barking after the second time I did it. I don't mind if my dogs bark a little while they're playing, but they do it sometimes just to get their way. I'd like him to understand that this isn't a good thing to do. As a result of the collar, he is quickly learning to stop barking when the beep is heard. My second dog, who was not wearing the collar at the time, also stopped barking when he heard the beep. ) The price was well worth it. (I ordered this after two other products had failed me- I couldn't figure out how to set up one from Amazon because it was too complicated; The other came from Walmart and didn't work at all. ) This one is simple to understand and executes flawlessly. You've come to the right place.
This was purchased to help a spoiled little dog that I adopted stop barking. He would bark if something made a sound. He'd bark just to hear himself bark a lot of the time. Because I live in an apartment, this was unacceptable behavior, and he had no idea what "no" meant. This collar is extremely useful. He no longer barks at anything, and he only realized "no bark!" on the second day. "I now have the ideal apartment pet, thanks to this collar, without being subjected to some torturous device. " It charges quickly and lasts for days without needing to be recharged. br>br>Purchase it; you will not be disappointed!.
I bought it for my mother's yappy small breed dog without realizing it needed to be assembled. She couldn't get it to vibrate on her own, so she had to keep zapping the dog until I could figure out what was wrong. The dog is still alive, but when it sees the collar, it pees. That's why I rated it two out of five stars. Overall, neither mom nor the dog had a pleasant experience.
So far, everything has gone well; I have another one, made by the same company, that also works well, but it is a remote control. When I don't have access to the remote, I bought this one to use for barking. I haven't had it long, but I've only charged it once since receiving it, so it appears to last a long time on a charge. It's very simple to use, and I'm hoping it will help with the barking; however, it's too early to tell because I've only put it on him a couple of times.
I was hesitant to purchase a collar, but the barking of my dogs had become excessive. They came to a halt almost immediately after hearing the first beep. They were so disturbed by the vibration that when they heard the beeping, they immediately stopped barking. It was the first time I had visitors and didn't have to confine the dogs to a room. It's been incredibly relaxing, and you won't believe how much of a difference it's made. This is without a doubt a game-changer. We haven't had to change the number one setting in a long time. It's simple and easy to use. We have small dogs, so the device appears bulky, but it is actually quite light.
It's a well-made product that's simple to use. Until I got my new puppy, I never imagined I'd need something like this. She is, to put it mildly, "spunky. " The collar appears to be functioning properly. So far, I've only experimented with the beep and vibrate modes. I like that there are three different modes to choose from: beep, vibrate, and static shock. It is a high-quality item at a reasonable cost.
