SportDOG Brand NoBark Rechargeable Bark Control Collar - Programmable, Waterproof Bark Collar

It was after researching this device and a few others that I purchased this collar. It was hard to contain my dog's barking as she would bark at everything she could imagine. She needed a bark collar. My sheltie, who is 4 years old, was already wearing it when I placed it on her (I set the collar's "progression" setting). As a result of her fur, it was necessary to use longer prongs. The collar would activate after she barks, and that would correct the behavior (usually by the second or third level of progression). Her barking was significantly reduced within a few days of implementing a few behavior changes. During the day, she would only wear her collar for around 8 hours (primarily after work through the evening hours. At night and during walks, that collar would be removed). In some ways, it seemed as if she wanted to bark, but she was afraid it wouldn't be loud enough to trigger her Her neck had numerous burn marks on it from the prongs, which I noticed when I took off her collar last evening (see picture). My money was immediately refunded by Amazon without hesitation after I contacted them. There is nothing more important than hoping someone will read this and prevent their pet from experiencing the same thing. Additionally, I will contact the manufacturer to let them know about the issue.

Based on the recommendation of a trainer, I purchased this collar. In total, I used it twice (after trying it on myself and in a supervised setting). On my first observation, I noticed there were reddish spots near where the nodes touched his neck, and he seemed kind of Initially, I thought the tightness or length of the garment might have been the issue. When I tried to bark the second time, my dog was in the yard with me. In the setting that starts at the lowest level and gradually increases, I had it at half the power. There was a scream that felt like it lasted for an eternity, but one that my friend said lasted between one and two minutes I watched my dog panic for two minutes while it thrashed and flapped around. Despite my best efforts, I couldn't grab the damn thing off of him because he was so trying to get it off. He must have shut down his brain after that long scream, for his body froze as he continued to scream for several minutes. His eyes were bugged out of his head, and he was stiff as a board. As soon as he sees the leash, he screams in fear. Once he is outside, he clings to me tightly and shakes with fright. When I attempt to make him go outside, he pees. He clings to me once I make him go outside, There is no way I can lift my dog more than 10 pounds. A 5 pound bag. According to its manufacturer, dogs over 8 pounds can use this device no problem. The answer to that question is No.

is difficult to find a collar that really only goes off when he barks. The alarm would go off even if he were just lying in bed, not moving at all. I found that one to be perfect for it. I let it burn holes in my dog's neck until it burned holes in my dog's Despite following the product's instructions to not leave on for extended periods of time, my dog does not bark chronically, just when clients arrive. I wish I could give this product a five star rating, but with the pain and agony he has experienced, I can't. Here is a photo of his neck after we washed out all the blood.

I was very impressed with the Because this is a newer model, I ordered this. There is a great deal of inconsistency, and there are times when it simply doesn't work. Bark at him until you can't stand it any longer. During my two years with the 10R, I used it a lot. It matters where it is placed, how tight it is, its length, and so on. When he shakes his head, he doesn't bark and gets zapped. A used 10r is being scouted on the internet. Don't be fooled by the positive reviews! It is the updated model, so the review of the 10R is combined with the review of this collar.

The collar I discovered after researching the best bark collar for stubborn barkers is the collar in question. Almost a month after it was installed, we were pleased to see it worked well. I noticed that after I used it for two months it became unresponsive. The temperament setting had never changed despite my dog going at it for quite a while. The battery indicator never shows a low state and is always marked fully charged despite the fact that it was used for over two months. It's a piece of junk, to be honest.

Despite its price and ineffectiveness, this product is so costly for absolutely no reason. It took me only a few days to notice my dog was completely ignoring Following all recommended guidelines, including shaving the dog's neck near its contact points, I even looked up and followed. My first thought was that it was unclear so I tested it with an electric tester and through several different use cases of vibration and sound testing to see if any output was generated. There is nothing. It does not produce any output. There is nothing. I am so disappointed and so angry that I invested my money into something I regret. You are not going to get a return on investment.

A second collar has just been returned. As instructed, the first program worked, but the second one didn't. A test for level of shock was performed on two dogs, and there was no shock! The second collar arrived after the first one was returned. To return to the cheap collar I know that works, but the batteries are draining.

Only used the device five times, inside the house for short periods and only for short durations. It is true that the collar shows almost no signs of wear and tear. It didn't work at the beginning of the month though! The collar is outside the return window, so I'm stuck with a dead and useless item. Make sure you are buying the right thing!.
