I believe it does a good job of distinguishing between the dog's barking and other noises. The only problem is that it only works for a week or two, after which our dogs have grown accustomed to it and have learned to ignore the beeping (this is not a shock collar). A shock collar is something I would never use on a dog).
The majority of the time, the APP is used for setting. The collar will work without connecting to the app if the dog's barking is louder than the trigger volume you set. br>br>You can customize the training plan and view the bark control records after connecting to the APP.
No, I don't believe you'll be able to pull it off. It only detects the dog's vocal vibrations, not your commands, to the best of my knowledge.

You see what I'm getting at. That was immediately put to an end by these collars! The kennels they're freeloading in aren't ours, and they're not even on our property. We live directly behind them, but we don't pay their water, fan, heat lamp, or light bills. They are enraged that their neighbors have allowed them to remain in their kennels and appear unconcerned about being evicted. It's probably not a big deal for them. Because the owner does not live here, their barking drives us insane most of the time. But, by God, these dogs act like heathens when they're here! Let me just clarify for anyone who is about to accuse me of exploiting others: we manage the land where the kennels are located. It's not quite as scrooge-like as it appears. We plan to install an underground fence because our oldest dog, who is diabetic and nearly blind, appears to despise her ten-year-old family and enjoys wandering down the road to see how far she can get away from our home before we force her to return. We've never seen her heading back our way! Not once! They are confined to the kennels until the fence is installed because they make poor choices when we are putting food in their bowls. So fast forward to now, and the land/kennel owners have decided to list their property, most likely because our dogs have chased them away, and these heathens seem to enjoy competing for the Guinness Book of World Records for the most barks per second the entire time the realators are here showing the property. That is, with the exception of our blind dog. We decided to purchase a collar in order to force them to show gratitude for free loading on this man's property, despite their refusal to show even the tiniest amount of gratitude. I suppose if they continued to bark, we would have scared away any potential new neighbors and kept our wonderful neighbors, but my respect for them won out in the end, and we bought these collars. We put the collars on them and waited. . . and waited. . . and waited some more! These two scumbags didn't even bother to try barking! We didn't hide out in the barn for the entire hour, waiting to be responsible pet owners and console them after this happened. Why would you want to stop now? We were certain that no amount of beeping or vibrating would be enough to deter them. We eventually gave up waiting because they never barked. After three weeks, there is still no barking! I'm considering getting one for my oldest child because she hasn't stopped talking since she was born, but I'm skeptical that even this miraculous collar will be able to stop her. Now that I think about it, it's possible there's something in the water, and I'll have it tested. br>As a result, these collars are truly miraculous! My dogs are no longer ungrateful heathens, and they at least appear grateful, even if it isn't genuine. I recommend purchasing the collar! Even when they aren't wearing them, they continue to function. When the collars are removed, I am not aware of their barking. The battery life is extremely impressive. Every week, I charge them.
P. br>Don't worry, Karen, I adore my children and their never-ending mouths, and I would never put a collar on them. You may now disconnect from DEFAX.
br>The collar is well made, and I like how you can use your phone as a remote control for immediate discipline. Even if you don't use that option, the device will activate to whatever settings you applied once your dog starts barking. It has no effect on my guy. He simply becomes irritated, stops barking, looks around to see where the vibration and voice are coming from, and then continues on his way without further interruptions. I just leave it plugged in when I'm inside, and it has a decent battery life and no shock, which was a big plus for me. That was something I didn't want for my dog at all. This is a product that I would strongly recommend.
I like that I can customize the voice command, but I don't like that I had to go through so many hoops to get it to work. br>br>First, customer service was quick to respond to a request for assistance. The battery was quickly charged and is still holding its charge. All five stars for the Bark Box, which is sleek and unobtrusive and arrived neatly packaged and on time. Nonetheless. br>br> br>br>After receiving a letter claiming that our shepherd barked all day and was a nuisance to our neighbors, we decided to purchase this device. She does bark, I get it. br>br>This collar is non-shock (which I like) and waterproof, as well as allowing for voice command recording, which is great for training. All of my "wishes" in terms of a training tool have been met. br>br>The one-star deduction is due to the difficulty in correctly setting the customized voice command and levels. I believe the problem is with the app that is required. It's not the actual device. br>br>I was able to solve the problem. It shouldn't, however, take as long as it does. It's possible that a non-tech owner will abandon the project and return it. br>br>Begin with the lowest setting and work your way up; the first vibration will send your dog running. Gracie has grown accustomed to it, and I believe it will eventually stop her bored barking and bring peace to the neighborhood.
This collar is absolutely fantastic. WORKS! It's true, y'all. I had a different brand that I returned and was hesitant to try another, but this collar exceeded my expectations! You can also program your voice into it so that your dog hears you and the vibration corrects it. It doesn't go off for no apparent reason, doesn't go off when they shake their heads, and the battery lasts a long time! I'm glad I bought it! You will not be disappointed if you purchase it. Oh, and you can use your phone as a remote to activate it if your dog is behaving badly in any other way. I haven't used it yet, but it's a great feature to have! I like how it grabs their attention without being shocking! I'm so impressed that I'm going to buy a backup in case the first one breaks. If your dog is driving you and your neighbors insane, you must purchase THIS COLLAR! Nothing else is worth your time or money.
