Put the collar on your dog if you know there will be a barking problem. They learn not to bark at that situation after a few times of just getting the collar out.

I wanted a bark collar that wouldn't zap my puppy, so I ordered this one. It gets the job done. When he barks more than a couple of times, it emits a tone. If he continues, the tone will grow longer, and it will eventually do the tone and vibrate. I'm not sure it's ever gotten to the vibrate stage. He is immediately jolted awake by the tone. When he wants to bark, he now does so in hushed tones. It's very funny. We are extremely pleased with our purchase. It was reasonably priced and well worth the money! I wish I'd bought these for my dachshunds when they were still alive because they were so yappy!.
Our dilemma is compounded by the fact that we have six cats. I began looking for no-bark alternatives that did not require shock! We couldn't use a shock collar because it was too painful! I found this product online, and it had good reviews (I'm always suspicious of too many good reviews), so we decided it was worth the risk to reduce her barking for the money. The collar arrived about a week ago, and we've only worn it during the witching hours (between 6 and 9 p. m. ) and when she's inside. That was our preference for how we wanted to wear the collar. br>br>The first night, she was a little perplexed as to where the noises were coming from when she barked; we believe she mistook it for her shadow. That first night, she got it to vibrate a few times, causing her to freeze and tilt her head slightly. We now only use the collar during the witching hour, when she is barking excessively, usually at a cat, about a week later. She has most likely worn the collar for a total of six hours. We've had it for 7 hours. She wouldn't stop barking at one of our cats in the laundry room last night. I took the collar from the counter and placed it around her neck. She came to a halt as soon as the collar was fastened around her neck and the cat in the laundry room was still standing in front of her. She wore it for about 30 minutes before falling asleep, so we removed it and she was fine the rest of the night. When this collar is placed on her, she quickly learns not to bark. This product has really helped us out and made us feel good because it is a more humane way of dealing with her excessive barking. br>br>Just to be clear, she is not a dog who barks nonstop throughout the day and night. . . . She communicates with us outside by barking, and we like how she does it. She is not insane in the least. We only use it because she was barking excessively whenever she came into contact with a cat in our house. . . which can and will happen frequently as the cats become more accustomed to her presence. br>br>The collar went off a few times after she calmed down and wasn't barking or wimping anymore, at least not that I could hear. We have the sensitivity set to the lowest level, so we're not sure why it's triggered a few times. I don't usually write reviews for things I buy, and I do a lot of shopping, but I wanted to make sure this one was fair and honest. To put it another way, if this collar stopped working in a year, I would buy a new one without hesitation! But, on the other hand, I might not have to because she's already learned to stop barking when it's on her! br>br>Every dog is different, and it may or may not work for some of the dogs out there, but it has worked for ours, and it worked quickly! It turned out to be an excellent investment!.
Immediate gratification is the name of the game here. I owe you a debt of gratitude that I will never be able to repay. It's my second collar, and I'm quite pleased with it. I bought one that shocks and it was a mistake. I'm not sure if my dog or I were the ones who were hurt the most, but it was a traumatic experience to say the least, so I got rid of it right away. I've been debating whether or not to try another collar period for quite some time. This is a painless way to stop your dog from barking. The first two times the dog barks, the collar beeps, and then the collar vibrates. When my dog starts barking and the collar beeps, I say "No barking" to let her know that barking is a command. My dog was no longer barking after just one beep! I'm blown away by how quickly she picked it up. The collar is absolutely fantastic and well worth the money! My groceries arrived the same day I got this collar, and I was surprised to hear no barking when the doorbell rang. I don't think I need to be concerned about us being kicked out of the airport or plane. This is fantastic news! Your humanity has also been appreciated by my Jack Russell. Don't waste any more time reading product reviews; buy now and you'll be glad you did.
I was skeptical at first, but after a few times wearing it, my dog's barking has significantly decreased. My dog started looking for the warning sound the first few times it went off. Whenever he was near an object when it went off, it was thoroughly searched. He now appears to sit or lie down whenever I put on the collar. WOW! Normally, this guy is a ball of energy. It's a huge step forward, and I'm hoping it will continue! When UPS and the Postal Service drop off packages, I'm sure they'll be more at ease.
We have a hunting dog who is the most obnoxious dog in the neighborhood. He barks at anything and everything! He gives at least four "warning barks" (to flush animals out of hiding) every time we let him out in the yard, and he terrorizes the mail delivery people every day. HE HAS CHANGED AFTER ONLY A COUPLE OF DAYS WEARING THIS COLLAR! It's much more peaceful around our house now that he only barks once or twice a day. If they continue to bark, the beep noise gets louder, so he usually stops before the vibrate function is activated. Even when he isn't wearing the collar, I've noticed a significant reduction in his barking. This collar makes me very happy.
