Selected User Reviews For Dog Bark Collars, Rechargeable Shock Collar with Beep Vibration Waterproof Barking Collar with 5 Adjustable Sensitivity Levels for Small Medium Large Dogs
I came across this collar by chance; I decided to give it a go after reading the reviews. My PomChi weighs in at around 8 pounds. When we went camping, I wanted something to help her stop her progressive barking. But she didn't want anything to overwhelm her and cause her distress. This collar is very snug around her neck at first, but after a while it loosens up. But it's not a big deal. It didn't come with instructions, but it's simple to follow if you watch the video. It's simple to use and keeps a charge for a long time. Overall, this collar has exceeded my expectations. As a result, I'm awarding it a five-star rating.
Parker is her name, and she barks a lot. This collar had no effect in reducing her barking. It's a chore to go outside because she barks as soon as you open the door. This 10-pound barker is unaffected by the collar.
I was concerned that the collar would go off when it wasn't necessary. With this collar, however, I have not observed this. You can adjust it as needed thanks to the settings. My dog is only 5 pounds, so I tried the shock option once on the lowest setting. I believe it was excessively harsh for such a small dog, and I will not use it again.
It doesn t always go off when she barks, but I would say 90% of the time it works like it should. We like the collar a lot and would recommend it to others. We've also never used the shock option, preferring instead to use the beep/vibrate option. We bought it for our 3-month-old Golden Retriever puppy so she could wear it in her crate and learn not to bark. Overall, it went well, and she picked up on everything quickly. That isn't to say she doesn't bark in her crate, but it is only in the mornings when she needs to go potty. We adore the color as well!.
The tone/vibration feature, as well as the various strengths to choose from, are fantastic. The collar is lighter and less bulky than the ones I've had previously. It's also simple to program. Nice.
This is an excellent collar. I really like how the vibration is preceded by a bell ring. Our dog gives us a heads-up that something bad is about to happen. Has put an end to our Schnoodle barking 90%.
After a few days of use, I'll post an update.
The rechargeable feature is convenient, but after a few weeks, the sensitivity and overall functionality have degraded. br>br>I bought this for our small dog because she barks a lot. all- The collar worked for a few weeks but then stopped working. It went from beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, I was a bit let down.
