Questions & Answers
I'm curious about the answer to the same query.
This collar has a lot of potential. It shocks both before and after the warning sound is heard, as well as when the dog isn't barking. According to the collar's instructions, setting 7 provides the least amount of shock. My dog is a 15-pound miniature poodle, and I've tried several levels, all of which seem excessive.
When you turn off the collar, it resets, so you'll have to set it up again every time you turn it back on! Regrettably, it usually resets to maximum.
Morky isn't a light person at all. The weight of this collar is extremely light. It has a range of settings (0-10) that can be customized. 7) for each of the three bark inhibitors - Beep, vibrate, and send an electrical impulse (which is not harmful). At this price, this is an excellent piece of training equipment.

This is important when purchasing items for my extra small/small dog. It says 6-inches on Amazon. 150lbs. The owner's manual specifies a 15-minute charging time. 150lbs. When it comes to animals and their weight, this is a huge factor to consider. Then I notice that there is a different weight given as well! It's time for you to make a change! I'm not sure if I'll get a gift card, but you should be aware.
I was pleased with this purchase at first, but one day I noticed Millie squealed louder than usual when shocked, so I looked at the collar and saw that the shock level was set to level 3, despite the fact that I swear I didn't put the shock on. Because this had never happened before, I assumed I had accidentally activated the shock and made a point of double-checking whenever I put the collar on her. Today, I hear my dog scream like I've never heard her before, and I rush over to her, only to discover that her shock collar is still shocking her. She's frantically running around, screaming at the top of her lungs, in an attempt to get away from the pain. She bit both my roommate and me as we tried to remove the collar from her, despite the fact that she normally wouldn't harm a fly. When I finally caught up with her and removed the collar, I discovered that the shock had been set to the highest setting without my knowledge. My heart breaks at the prospect of inflicting unnecessary pain as a result of this faulty collar. Her screams still reverberate in my mind, and everyone in my apartment is shaken because she was such a sweet and loving dog who morphed into something completely different due to her pain. I would not advise anyone who cares about their pet to use this collar. I'm not one to write reviews, but if this one can prevent someone from making the same mistake I did, it was well worth my time. If the shock activates on its own, this collar should not be on the market. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> During a global pandemic, my roommate's wound has become severely infected, and we had to wait all day for a doctor. I'll send our medical bills to this company as an invoice.
My Corgi weighs 20 lbs. Because I don't like electric shocks, I only used the vibration setting. The sensitivity settings aren't very good; you can set it to 1 for the lowest sensitivity or 7 for the highest. It only worked about a third of the time when she barked at a 6, so I increased it to a 7 and it now goes off when she runs without barking. This collar had a lot of positive feedback and had worked for a lot of people, so I was optimistic that it would work for her as well. I'll have to look for another one, unfortunately. If I wrote a review, they offered me $10. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> They offered me a $20 Amazon credit in exchange for my negative review being removed. So it's possible that this product's high rating is undeserved.
This collar is a sure-fire way to cause a mishap. I tested it by setting the collar to number 7 (lowest). It took me by surprise when I was four years old! Even as I write this, I can still feel it running up my arm. I tried it again, this time setting it to 7, but it didn't work. It was done by my husband, and the same thing happened. Thank God I tested it before putting it on; otherwise, my dog would have died from the shock. Dangerous in the extreme. This product has no place on the market!.
No matter how much training and dog whistles we use, my Yorkie continues to bark. We live on a golf course, so whenever she sees someone golfing or golf carts, she freaks out. We can't get food at a drive-through because they can't hear us over her barking. On the first day, the collar has already made an impact! br>br>If I had to reduce my complaint to its simplest form, it would be that it is too large. To make it fit better, we scrunched up the hair tie. To begin, we're just using lower-level vibrations and higher-level sound. When it goes off, she stops barking and dives under the bed for safety. I don't think she'll have to wear this collar for long before she stops barking. br>br>We put the shock to the test on ourselves, and all I have to say is wow! We're hoping we won't need to use that feature, and if we do, we won't go higher than the lowest setting because she's small, but this collar would probably make a dinosaur behave on high lolbr>br>So far, we highly recommend.
I simply took it from its box, charged it, and adjusted the collar. I tweaked the three settings once it was turned on. I turned it off, then on again - All three of my custom settings had vanished (and the factory had reset the settings to much higher levels). This is not acceptable. I'll be back.
I'd been having problems with my dog barking excessively when I wasn't home, and nothing I tried seemed to work. I appreciate the lack of a remote on this one. It responds to the barking of the dog. It gets the job done! I'm glad I went ahead and purchased it. I have a 9-pound Yorkie, and it's perfect for him. I simply removed the extra collar strap, and it now fits perfectly.
LuLu is a crazy, all-day barker, and because she barked our precious yellow Lab, Brandy began singing along with her. After being zinged twice, they stopped thinking about barking. The lab simply turned and went to her bed and lied down. LuLu was evasive and let out a growl, but she quickly realized that was not allowed either. I left the zap on for a week and then switched it to vibrate for the second week. The vibration is enough to get their attention; Lulu did make a mistake once, but that is to be expected with any training. The collars charge at a rapid rate. My computer, cell phone charger, and iPod charger all use the same USB cable. I would recommend this collar to anyone who has a noisy or unruly puppy, but exercise caution when using the zap feature because it is quite powerful.
