Dear, only the sensitivity level can be changed (1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest), but the shock level remains constant.
Yes, dear, this is an upgraded version of the bark collar; the application range is 7LB-100LB. 120LB.
I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with the subject. This collar was a complete disaster for me.

I had my doubts about how well this would work on our two-year-old, highly reactive Australian Cattle Dog, whom we had rescued a year ago. Her past is unknown, but she reacts to wheels, people, dogs, and delivery trucks. We've gone through a lot of training, as well as daily work and reinforcement. I bought this as a last-ditch effort to stop her barking and lunging, based on different settings and battery life. br>The results have been amazing! The amount of barking and lunging from our dog has significantly decreased. "No barking," the command is given to her. " She pauses to think. When the alarm goes off, she begins to run in circles but eventually comes to a halt. We don't use the shock. br> br>We dialed it up to three. br>I like that I don't have to worry about losing a remote and that I can choose how much reinforcement I want to give her. br>The charge lasts a long time. br>I'd rate it a 4 out of 5. It gets five stars because it beeps when you turn it off, which the dog doesn't like. I eventually have to go outside to turn it off away from her. Our daughter has a very barky Cockapoo, so she tried it on her dog, which prompted me to write a review. The barking had stopped, and she couldn't believe it! She's going to place her own order. br> The price was well worth it.
My ten-year-old Terrier has an unquenchable thirst for barking. I've had quite a few of these bark collars over the years, and the average "life" is around 18 months. 2 years. This one has been going well so far. The following are two characteristics that distinguish this as the best ever:
1. After a few hours of inactivity, it DOES NOT turn itself off. Because my dog has a problem with barking at night - It was critical that the collar not be turned off because she barks for about an hour, sleeps for a while, and then starts barking again as soon as daybreak arrives. Despite the fact that the manufacturer claims otherwise, a large number of people do. It would not, according to the seller.
2. The accusation is that We use it every night starting at 11 p. m. 7 a. m. , then take it out and turn it off. With this type of usage, it will stay charged for two weeks. Others I've had needed to be re-done. after only 3-minutes of charging 5 days. br>br>**I think the collar is a good idea. It makes a beep after the first bark, which usually ends the barking. If she continues to bark for some reason, it will zap her and the barking will stop. With this collar on, she has never "learned" not to bark at all; she is a stubborn dog, but it has made a significant difference, and my neighbor no longer calls me to complain!.
The collar beeps and shocks without the use of a remote. It's a big enough collar for a big dog. Regardless of what the advertisement claims, the collar does beep and shock when the dog wearing it interacts with other dogs or when the collar detects barking from another dog. My dogs are two. While attached to the older dog, the one without a collar (the puppy) set it off several times. The collar itself is prone to slipping and loosening around his neck. When he shook after waking up from a nap, the alarm would go off. When we were at home, we only wore the collar. Even when used as directed, it changed our problems into new ones. And, in our experience, the beeping was sufficient. It was unnecessary for us to startle him. But now, on occasion, our dog would whine and stand perfectly still in an attempt to avoid a collar reaction to any movement. Even if it wasn't turned on. He behaved in an unusual manner. As a result, he is constantly whining and refusing to enter the crate. Even when he wasn't wearing the collar, his behavior was altered. We just didn't get it the way we wanted. He continues to act as if he is a different dog. Since using it, he has been unhappy and jittery all of the time. Only the beeps were activated. When he was taken away for a week or so, he began to bark again. And he grumbled. Aside from the barking, there's also the yelling. A LOT. Every time someone came into the driveway, he would constantly. . . well, in between barking all the time. Everyone in the house, including the people who LIVE here, would be barked at as soon as they walked in. So we thought we'd give it a shot tonight, but the collar had completely stopped working. It only shows a full charge and lights up. This product has left both me and my dog disappointed. Don't waste your money, for the sake of both you and the dog.
br>By far, my favorite is this one. br>Within half an hour She was well aware that she needed to quiet down. br>This isn't something to leave on all day or all night; it's for when she barks out of control while we're camping or in the car, barking at everything that moves. It has a place, and hopefully it will be filled in time. I won't require it any longer. br>Well worth the money and then some. br>Would definitely recommend. br>I'm impressed that I was able to get great results even on the lowest setting. br>It's been a month since I've used it and it's still going strong. The battery life is excellent, as I've only had to charge it a couple of times. br>It's also light and easy to wear. When my dog wears it, it doesn't seem to bother him at all. br>It's a definite must-have!.
Keep in mind that this is a dog who was previously aggressive, lunging, growling, barking, and threatening. who now stands docilely for ten minutes or more in the presence of a stranger in her yard. Also, while we're on the subject of it - After two barks, we didn't require the shock feature. We turned it off, and she only responded to vibrations and audio tones. We're currently using the collar on dog 2 without any shock, and it's working great for her as well - She's five years old, by the way. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with an old Australian Cattledog/Australian Shepherd mix who was *too* reactive. Unless you have a truly "hard-core" barker, one or two shocks should be enough to stop the bad behavior.
