Questions & Answers
If the collar is exposed to excessive movement, such as the dog scratching or the collar being too loose, the collar may beep or emit its static discharge, depending on the sensitivity setting chosen for your dog's collar. If it is activated when there is little to no activity, I recommend lowering the sensitivity.
Everything you'll need for the collar is included (including rubber caps).
The clasps were not secure, allowing my dog to slip it off and chew it, so I received a replacement on April 11th. It will not charge today, July 20. It's been used once; try it again, and it'll be a waste of time. Close the return window.
You have the option of setting it to beep and vibrate or beep, vibrate, and shock. There are two options.

Before I purchased something, I should have read the one and two star reviews. The product is of excellent quality and will last for many years. However, there is no way for me to change the level of shock. I initially tested the shock on my own hand, and it was extremely powerful! I've tried other shot colors before, and this collar is blatantly cruel to animals! It hurts quite a bit. Putting on your dog is not something I would recommend. This is especially true if you do not test on your own hand or neck.
I was ecstatic when I discovered that, in addition to the shock feature, it had beep and vibrate settings. I was hoping to be able to choose whatever worked best for our dog. That wasn't the case at all. To begin with, the only setting on this collar that you can change is the sensitivity with which it detects noise; unfortunately, no matter what you set it to, it picks up on everything and would startle our dog even if she wasn't barking. It picked up on my husband and me having a normal voice level conversation and started shocking our dog. Furthermore, the shock feature is very delayed, so even if your dog is barking, it won't shock them until after they've finished barking because it first goes through the beep and vibration modes, which does nothing for training and only confuses the dog. If the dog stops barking after the beeping starts, the beeping should come to an end as well. It picked up on our other dog barking within the first hour we had it on her and began to go through the beep, vibrate, and shock settings, but it did not stop. It continued to go through this process over and over again, even though our dog had run into another room and hid under a bed. She was crying out in pain, which would then set it off, shocking her until I was able to pull her out from under the bed and remove it. This is a torture device; I tried it on myself, and the shock feature is extremely powerful, leaving me sore an hour later. This bark collar is not something I would recommend.
br>I WAS RUINING MY LIFE. I'M SORRY FOR NOT BEGINNING AT THE LOWEST LEVEL OF SENSITIVITY. I BEGINNED ON THE HIGHEST LEVEL. MY 7 YEAR OLD HAS BEEN WITH ME FOR 3 DAYS. THE OLD GSD REACTED. NOW, WHEN SHE GOES FOR A WALK, SHE DOESN'T BARK AT THE SKY, THE AIR, THE CAR, THE TREE, THE PEOPLE, OR THE SQUARRELS; SHE BARKS WHEN SHE HAS TO. AS IF SOMEONE OR ANOTHER DOG WAS COMING TO OUR DOOR. br>I AM OVERJOYED! OUR NEIGHBORS ARE HAPPY, AND SO IS OUR LANDLORD! BUY IT NOW AND SAVE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN HEADACHES. BY THE WAY, SHE IS NO LONGER WEARING IT!.
poo. She was immediately at ease with them. She's six years old and has always used disposable potty pads, so I placed those on top of these to make sure she knew they were her new pads. She's always had a bad habit of peeing right next to her pads. So, I'm not sure if I'll keep using a disposable pad on them or not because, for the time being, this system appears to be working well. In any case, she's made excellent use of them this week. However, if I can get rid of the disposable pads, these will look so much nicer. It's difficult to tell where she's urinated. I looked for a long time before deciding on these pads. It came down to these and a pair of two in two different brown shades. I'm going to try the brown ones as well, so I'm going to subscribe and save for them. My carpets are tan, so I'll stick to brown shades. These pads are gray in color, but when placed on a tan carpet, they appear brown. I believe I will be able to go a week, if not more, before needing to replace the two pads, so having at least four of these pads on hand is essential. I can wash two of them at once and have a clean set ready for when I pick up the dirty ones the following weekend. Also, I recently tried human cloth "chucks," and I still prefer these potty pads to those because they lay flatter on the floor and are more attractive. But with the human chucks, I learned to wash them with at least 1 cup of borax and a quarter to half a capful of laundry detergent to remove any stains or odors. I soak them for at least an hour before washing them. No odors or stains have ever bothered me!.
I'd have to double up because the urine would leak through, and I'd have to throw it out right away. They were far too small for my dog, who would use about three of them just to go potty. Above all, you're constantly adding to your collection! I have one outside on my balcony for my large dog to use on days when I'm working long hours or if he needs to go to the bathroom for whatever reason. There are two included. So I use the other one to cover my cat's litter box or as a backup while I wash the other one. PROS: br>br>
- 2 pcs. packagebr>- simple grey color (most companies only have cheesy dog bone or dog motif prints, which I despise)br>- They're quite large, which is exactly what I needed for my large dogbr>- They don't slide because they have a non-slip coating on the back. br>- I washed them without a prewash after my dog pooped on them several times, and they came out perfectly clean. br>br>CONS: So far, there haven't been any! They are fantastic! br>I suppose the only disadvantage of these over disposables is that you don't have access to a washing machine.
