She's sweet I bought this collar for my kitten, who was spayed, and it is very good. This collar is easier for her to wear than the paper plate collar we had been using up until now. As you can see in two pictures, she prefers the petals down I initially had them upright but found she preferred them down. Although she could walk just fine even with the petals touching her legs, it took her a little while to figure that out. I have a cat who is about four years old. I have a 5-pound dog, so I bought the small collar. It has two settings, so I have it on the smallest setting and it fits well. It is not coming off! Oh, and she has been trying for quite some time. Several times she had to take off the plastic collar that goes around the regular collar. When I take it off to give her a break, she loves to play with it. These are much smaller than advertised. I used them on my 5 lb kitten, and they were a lot smaller than advertised. Choking her out, he suffocated her. We have returned! It may be possible to use a larger size. If you're planning to put it on a gerbil, I would strongly recommend against it.
