I bought this for my cat to wear while she recovers from her spay. As long as she can get in and out of the litter box and use it as a pillow on her back, she did fine with it. The dressing kept her from licking her stitches, but she is still able to eat and use it. The collar is still one of my staples for when I notice she needs some neck support while she is napping, and she has no issues.

In this case, an antibiotic application did not seem to be doing any good, so we decided to try this little "donut" pillow. It may look as if she's planning to kill me in my sleep, but she's so much happier now than she was when she was wearing a She wouldn't touch food or drink and would barely lift her head while inside the cone.
