The sizing is accurate to the measurements given; I ordered a medium for my cat, and it fits perfectly.
Puppy can be used as well. Sizes must be the same.
Yes, the cat is able to use the litter box without issue, and the suit remains clean. It was on my cat after she had her spay surgery.
You can look at the size chart; I'm guessing you'll need a Large size for your kitty.

Even though she was 10 pounds and fairly skinny, the dress was too short for her, despite the fact that it fit her weight. I ordered a second one, this time in a medium, and it's slightly baggy (which is fine) and fits her so much better in terms of length. wise ! She was able to go potty with ease, and the litter was kept away from her stomach. It's made of a very soft material that prevents her from licking her incision site; I just got it today, and she's never worn clothes before, so she waddles a little funny, but that's not due to the suit! It's just me and my naughty daughter. I personally like it and may have her wear it even after her tummy heals just for the sake of cuteness. Make sure to check the measurement page to ensure that your cat is properly fitted. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: br>br>IF YOU USE THIS WEBSITE, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS: If you purchase it and your cat flops around, the neck is too tight! It's a form of self-defense. I discovered this the hard way and removed it from her as soon as she began acting in this manner!.
They are, after all, effective. While they waited for these, the little ones were depressed while wearing the cones. We are grateful that the suits arrived less than 24 hours after we placed our order, because they were much happier in them than in the cones. The suits also kept their jumping to a bare minimum. They persisted in attempting to jump over the cones! Our two-year-old rescue cat is 8 pounds and has a lot of fur, so we ordered all three sizes. She was able to pull a Houdini and escape the large, which was too big in the buttocks for her. The medium was exactly what I needed. The medium fit our 6 month old rescue kitten, who weighs about 6 lbs, but she came to us very skinny and has stayed that way, so the small was the best fit for her. She was able to pee on the medium, but she hasn't had any accidents on the small. So, despite the fact that we followed the charts and put them in large and medium sizes at first, they needed to be sized down to medium and small.
After my cat's neutering operation, I purchased this as a replacement for a cone (Elizabethan collar). In the cone, he was extremely uncomfortable and couldn't eat unless we spoon-fed him. He was either fed or his cone was removed. br>It's very simple to get started - You may need to hold the cat's head still while putting it on to prevent them from fleeing. My cat is very docile, so he just lay down in protest as I picked up each paw and inserted it into its respective hole. br>He has a peculiar walking style - He had the appearance of a small robocat, especially at first - However, after a few hours or days, he can move around fairly normally. He can eat and use the litter box without any problems, though he did pee on the back of the onesie. (If necessary, it might be worth cutting some extra space. ) ) I washed it in the machine with no problems. br>With only a little effort, he's been able to jump on the couch, scratch on his scratch board, and generally be a cat. It's also extremely cute and stylish. br>br> I would strongly suggest it.
I was concerned that the small would be too small for her, but it stretches well and does not appear to be too tight. Within a few minutes, she had become accustomed to walking in it. I'm using it for after her spay, and we're on day three after the procedure, and she's a happy kitty in her pink suit! This is a product that I would strongly recommend!.
This was purchased for our cat so that she would not have to wear a cone after being spayed. We’ll CALM THE %* because we’ve continued to use it occasionally at night so she’ll CALM THE %*! DOWN. It's soft, the neck can be adjusted, and she can easily go about her business while wearing it. br>br>Be aware that your cat will initially dislike it because it will prevent them from grooming themselves. Ours has become more comfortable. This straightjacket, thankfully, has withstood her chewing and tugging.
After being fixed, Mischief was able to move around freely, use the litter pan, and simply be herself roaming the house. This provides comfort, but more importantly, it covers the belly button, preventing her from licking or pulling at the stitches, resulting in faster healing. She had to get used to it at first when walking because it was obviously new to her, but it fit just right, not too tight or too loose, and I put it on her almost as soon as she got home to keep her from licking or biting at her stomach. Definitely preferable to the shame cone.
We were desperate to find a better solution because her recovery would take two weeks, and she was freaking out in her cone. We got her a pillow cone, but she kept slipping out. She could walk around and use the bathroom normally while still grooming her legs, and she couldn't get out of it. br>br>We placed an order for a Medium (1. a child of five years old / a child of eight years old 3 lbs. ) but because she's tall, the size was too small for her legs. I ended up cutting slits to extend the holes and give her more mobility, which worked perfectly. If you're unsure about sizing, go by length rather than weight.
7–10 days in a collar She ran (kind of ran, with the collar on) backwards to a bathroom corner to hide as soon as we got home because she was having such a bad time with the e-mail. wearing a collar This item was recommended to me when I inquired about other collar options. I turned it on and took the e-mail as soon as I could. She was back to her old self after taking off her collar! It prevented her from licking the wound and from moving around excessively. Because she wasn't used to wearing anything, she didn't run or jump while wearing it. She would have ripped her stitches if it hadn't been for this, and she would have had more health problems as a result of the stress of wearing the e-mail. (She has feline leukemia, and stress is very harmful to her). This item comes highly recommended from me. Instead of those dreadful cones, I believe ALL vet offices should have these! They will, hopefully, one day.
