Having such a large sized screen may not be the best idea. The majority of kitties do not need this after spaying or neutering. The only surgery is a major one. An older cat who had his leg put back together needed it for his larger size. This one is for a vet who had a leg amputated.
At the time of the birth of our 2 female puppies and when they were 7 months old we also bought 2 donuts and 2 sawmong suits from Amazon. We found that the donuts were just about the right size for our girls. It weighs seven pounds apiece. The dogs seemed to like them in the end, but when crated the poodle managed to pull her collar off after a while. Get the suits so they do not lick each others wounds. It will be tough the first few days to prevent them from licking each other. I had a difficult time keeping them apart because after a few days, they will want to play together. To my thinking, suits would be better suited to two puppies, but my pups Hope it works out for you
In the case of smaller breeds, yes. I have a 10lb Bichpoo puppy, and it fit fine, but if you have a larger breed you may want to check its dimensions/size.
This is what I got my cat because of that. Despite having pain in her ears, she scratched her ears so much that they got hurt. Although she couldn't reach her ears once I put this donut on her, before I put it on her, she could. The claws on its back are also durable enough to scratch against it. Overall, it is clear that it is ideal for that purpose.

He was not a fan of it. Despite his discomfort, he struggled to eat and use the litter box while it was on, and I could tell when trying to sleep that he was uncomfortable, but it was too risky to take it off and risk extending his wound's recovery. There were literally 6 different options that I bought from Amazon Please note that There was a cute turkey leg one (It lasted for a picture before he tore it off, but I was expecting it)
- I tried two onesies (they didn't work because they didn't cover the wound),
- I tried making a sunflower dog collar for my son (too large and floppy, so he could easily pull it off)*.
- She had another one that looked somewhat like this, but it did lack a cinch (he pulled it off) There was no contest for this donut one! The diaper hasn't even been attempted to be pulled off, and I was able to hold it nicely and snugly while also allowing him to breathe freely. The fact that it sits a bit below his neck makes him more comfortable. The wound isn't within the range of his mouth and he can consume dry and wet food easily from a dish. Because I know he won't hit his head on the wall like he did when wearing the cone, I feel much more comfortable letting him walk around the house (instead of removing the cone and locking him in the bathroom). The cat seems happier as well. I hope I do not sound like a crazy cat lady. Rather than acting like his usual self, he has become more playful. In case you're looking for an option for a large and active cat you might be interested in my experience. I don't usually write Amazon reviews, but I wanted to share my experience here. It was so thrilling to find one that worked after trying a few. There is no doubt that I.
We tried putting a collar on him, but he refused So much so that he kept bumping into walls trying to remove it from our place. As a result, I hopped onto Amazon to find an alternative. This one is by far the best one I have found in terms of "cute soft e-books" Those who wear collars belong to this Some of the other ones are too flimsy or slip off, or don't block enough to be useful others are too thin or difficult to grasp This is a collar alternative. Although my grumpy cat did not like having something around his neck at first, he quickly grew to like it (in less than a day, I would say) especially since he was able to eat and drink while it was As he leaned on it a lot, he even fell asleep, so it seems to be a very comfortable pillow for him as well. Definitely one of the best products I've ever used. I would just like to mention two things to be aware This is *br1. If you don't want it to be gnawed on, make sure that the elastic (the part that is tight around the neck) is tucked in. Observation 2. Cat with lots of energy, that's what I can So, just to be safe, I do not recommend leaving it on overnight or when you have to leave your cat unsupervised. Lastly, a PS Being a stuffed plush, I have no idea why this item needs to be rated as "easy to blow up" since it comes already "inflated". The air doesn't have to be inflated, though.
The time period. During last weekend's party, our little sweetie came home with the cone of shame she wore to the party, which looked as sad as she felt while On the first night, our baby onesie failed to fit her, and I discovered in the morning that she had managed to get Even if the camera was still snapped! I am impressed, but I am concerned. The stitches were too delicate for her to handle. My idea of a good time and my idea of a good use of my money don't include trips to the ER with my vet. This is what we used the next evening. It has not only provided her with some great entertainment (her name is Jelly, so she's now referred to as our Jelly Donut), it has also effectively prevented her from messing with her lover I don't think her being booed bothers her at all. Hey, we might use it after she gets better just for fun from time to time. The find was great and the purchase was awesome! Note her size is as small as a puppy. The neck of this person is skinny and she weighs 8 pounds. Keep that in mind when ordering, as this thing was smaller than I expected.
It was the perfect size for our 10 lb. We have a puppy from the Bishpoo breed. After she was spayed, we used it for the first week. Our puppy was much more comfortable with the smaller profile collar than with the cone issued by the vet. Despite her condition, she was able to sleep, eat, and move about freely. As a result, we ordered a recovery suit and liked it better than this one during our It is possible that the collar (neck pillow) was pushing on her stitches, causing her to lick them more when she tried to clean herself.
It took him a while to get used to the idea. Having slept for a couple hours, I decided to have a great night's sleep You are looking. It doubles as a neck support. Does it also come in a smaller version for people?.
I also find it helps keep my cat from licking everywhere except the It can be quite easy for her to remove it, so I can't just leave it on her unattended. I'm therefore taking off two stars for the reason I can't leave it on her unsupervised!.
A wound on my cat kept getting infected despite the fact that he would not let it heal properly without this. was unsuitable for our needs because he still scratched, it was very easy to use and, were you able to guess, extremely A little more comfortable for e-mail than the usual His usual method of lying down was to make use of it as a pillow. I love it. In addition, he had an adorable smile.
Her stomach is a bald spot so I want to use this as a way to break the cycle. These medications are designed to ease anxiety. She didn't like it and wouldn't let the donut stay on for more than a couple of minutes at a time, so I returned it to her. However, the elastic drawstrings are too stretchy, allowing the donut to easily slip off. They are supposed to be comfortable and adjustable, but they are far too stretchy. In the case of a noose, they are basically tightened to an excessive degree. It seems to me that a semi-semi would be useful I am just a consumer, not a manufacturer. A rigid velcro system would be more efficient. Even though the donut is not intended for its intended purpose, it's still a very cute addition to the display.
