I get a roll of old road sisal rope and reattach it with hot glue or spray adhesive, but work quickly because it dries quickly.

To be honest, most cat trees can be tweaked to your liking if you are a little creative. I see no reason why you couldn't switch it to the opposite side:
Based on my experience with a variety of cats, I've discovered that cats under 10 pounds are most at ease in the Hamic basket.

It is very popular with Kitten. This is an extremely sturdy and plush cat tree that my four-month-old kitten adores. She started using the scratching posts right out of the box, but it took her a while to warm up to the rest of the features (we've had it for about three months). 4 weeks). She now takes naps in the basket and hangs out in the small alcove on a regular basis. She hasn't yet progressed to the highest level. If your cat doesn't immediately take to it, it's likely that they'll play with it once they've grown accustomed to it and see it as a permanent fixture. br>br>We've found it to be quite sturdy, and haven't had any problems with it toppling or moving, but it is against a wall/window. She's 3. She's only 5 pounds, so I don't expect any problems as she grows. We looked at a lot of cat trees before making our decision, and we're very pleased with our choice!.
*UPDATE* The kittens are now seven months old and nine months old, respectively. Each pound is approximately 5 lbs. We'll probably have to get a bigger tree. When both of them are in it, it appears to be unstable. Granted, it's only used in situations where anchoring isn't an option. br>br>Assembly was quick and easy, taking less than 45 minutes. Our two 15-year-olds br>br> The kittens, who are only a week old and weigh about 5 pounds, seem to enjoy it. So far, the fleecy carpet fabric appears to be the better option; vs. Our previous tree was more burbur, which resulted in aggressive scratching (thus tearing it apart). br>br>I'm not sure how it'll work when they reach adulthood, or for our 13-year-old, 12-pounder. cat. The only place where he can easily fit is in the upper basket, and even that is a little tight. When he climbed up, however, it appeared to be stable. The only way to find out is to wait. br>br>The Feandrea models designated for "larger cats" were taller than we wanted for the space we'll eventually keep it in.
Following an injury, I purchased this for my reptile. It's ideal for her nails because they're feline-like and incredibly simple to put together.
This cat tree is exactly what it says on the tin - it's a tree for cats. dependable and well-built In a small space, it's padded, stable, and doesn't feel overwhelming. If you have a cat that weighs more than 16 pounds, I'd recommend getting something a little larger, but for my 8-pound cat, this is plenty. br>br>However, what I really want to commend is the AMAZING customer service; my tree arrived missing a couple of columns but with all of the necessary hardware. When I contacted the company, they promptly corrected the problem. Because of how the problem was handled, I will remain a loyal customer. I couldn't have had a more enjoyable time.
I have two 10-pound cats who aren't huge but aren't kittens. The top bed is large enough for someone who wants to stretch their legs. My black kitty enjoys curling up in the little house in the middle for a nap. It was very simple to put together; just follow the instructions carefully! I ended up with some extra hardware in the box, which I believe was due to a last-minute packing mistake. However, the assemblage was unconcerned about it. All of the pieces appeared to be sturdy, and it went together without any gaps or loose fittings. The carpeting is very soft, and while it will hold up well, I can see how a scratchy kitty would quickly wear it out, but that's to be expected. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase, and the furkids are as well.
It's also a great way to save space in your RV. In an RV, I needed a place for two cats to climb, lounge, and scratch. This was difficult because they were all either too tall, had an excessively large base footprint, lacked sufficient activity areas, or were simply too expensive. This was the result of a three-month search. We decided to save space by using plywood to reinforce the top of the dog kennel and opting for a shorter cat tree on top of the kennel. This one was almost perfect for our awkward slide corner with the cabinet protruding. Even though they don't have access to the top bed, they use four different lounging areas. Because the top bed is too close to the ceiling of our slide, we use it as a shelf for toys and treats. Exceptionally strong and stable. Even when one is in the side basket and the other is playing like a madman, it doesn't wobble or lean in the least. In our color scheme (grey cabinets with bright accent color), the grey is also a trendy color that doesn't stand out or look unattractive. Overall, it's one of the best purchases I've made this year! I would strongly suggest it.
This is a cute cat tree with a few nice features but a few flaws. br>br>The fur lining is very easy to remove. Touch it, and you'll be able to get a handful in a matter of seconds. When my cat scratches, plays with the ball, and runs up and down it, there are little clumps of grey fluff all over the place. I have to vacuum every couple of days or else I'll find it all over my house. br>br>On the little bucket where it attaches near the tree, the seams have already begun to give way. I liked the bucket option and how it could be swung back and forth, but I wish it was on the opposite side of the tree, away from the lower openings. br>br>The ball was useless and vanished within half an hour, disintegrating completely. The replacement is the same way. br>br>The stability strap isn't in a place where it can be used; it would have been nice to be able to install it wherever you want during assembly, because I could have used it, but instead it's become another toy function of the tree. The scratchy material should be used on more legs. br>br>If it weren't for the fuzz, I'd probably give it 5 stars, but I can't stand the fuzz mess and wish I could reposition it occasionally.
It was a cinch to assemble. It appears to be quite durable. To give you a sense of scale, the kitten in the photos is 3lbs and 9 weeks old. For full-time employment, it appears to be too small and/or too short. grown-up cats After a few weeks of use, I'll update my review.
