When my 16-pound ragdoll tries to lay on one of the three plush shelf beds, he falls off. He can fit in the one large house just below the beds, but he prefers to sleep on the floor now. He doesn't usually like cat trees, but he doesn't like this one. He's simply too large. I had hoped that it would be more spacious, and that he would be able to fit his entire body into both houses and the three beds. The beds are soft squares that are ideal for a cat weighing around 10 pounds. The cat tree, on the other hand, appears to be quite sturdy and comfortable. It has the softness of a baby blanket or a stuffed animal.
I have two Maine Coons, a male who weighs 18 pounds and a female who weighs 14 pounds. Yes, they're a little big, but the cat tree doesn't bother them, and they're always on it! This tree is far superior to anything you'll find in a pet store. If your cat is particularly large, you might want to consider constructing a custom tree. This purchase receives two thumbs up from my cats.
36" by 36" is a good size for small cats, and the majority of my Paretos are large enough to fit comfortably.
Anything shipped into California (food, drink, textiles, etc.) must bear a Prop 65 warning, which mandates that anything sold in the state that contains chemicals or products that may cause cancer or reproductive harm must be labeled as such to inform consumers. It is intended to be educational, as the chemicals would still exist without the proposition, but the average consumer would not know or care enough to be aware of them. If you don't live in California, you're out of luck. To avoid being shipped to California without a label, the label is most likely universal. br>br>While particleboard almost always contains hazardous chemicals (formaldehyde, etc. ), they are contained within the treated wood, so unless you eat it, you should be fine. Any piece of household furniture usually contains the same chemicals, and it is now required to have the prop. 65 label.

Three of them are kittens, while the others weigh between 12 and 18 pounds each. The length is 34 inches. BIG CATS! As soon as I put it in place, 8 of my fur babies went exploring. Because it is in front of a large window, it is not anchored. With them jumping on and off, this thing didn't even sway! It's extremely well made and the best cat tree I've ever bought in this price range! I'm going to get a second one so my cats can spread out and claim territories. My larger dogs were able to snuggle and lay comfortably on areas that I had assumed were too small for them. This thing has completely blown me away. They can't do as many jungle gym moves on it as they can on the larger trees I've had, but I'm content with the stability trade-off. My pod has destroyed cat trees with tower cushions, but these are incredibly plush and stay put even when the biggest of them jumps up to lay down. Maine Coons can grow to be even bigger than my cats, but I think you'd be happy with their stability if you had one. Although the base appears to be small, it is in fact quite large. tipper!.
This cat tree is one of my favorites. I bought two of them to replace some older ones, and they exceeded my expectations by a long shot. It's very sturdy, with a wide enough base to keep the tree from tipping over. The perches are padded, which I wasn't expecting, and they're being used by even my cats who have never been cat tree cats. I would advise anyone who is on the fence about getting these to do so right now. They're fantastic.

This is something I would strongly recommend. UPDATE: It's been a year. I adore this tree, and the company's customer service is unparalleled. With four cats using it on a daily basis, the sisal on the bottom legs wore out. I contacted the company to inquire about purchasing replacement legs, and they gladly sent them to me free of charge! I felt ecstatic. They're the best. br>br>Original Post: My cats were climbing all over it before we even finished putting it together. One of our other trees was ruined because of my four cats. They adore it, and I see them in it far more often than in the previous one. Putting it together was not difficult. I like the color because I have three dark-haired cats, and this will hide their fur better than my beige tree.
My cat is in awe of his cat condo! He was impatiently awaiting my completion. When he races to the top, the design is rock solid and does not budge an inch! This thing is huge and well worth the money! Three of my four neighbors have cats, and they bring their cats up to play on it while they wait for theirs to arrive. Exceptional product; no parts were missing, as some reviewers claimed. This is a big package, and I'm sure the mailman is irritated with me! lol.
I expected the cat tree to be of lower quality at such a low price. But no. . This one is of excellent quality, is VERY WELL BUILT, and is simple to put together. MY CATS LOVE IT! br>br>Songmics provides outstanding customer service. They are quick to respond and take care of any problems that arise. A screw connector on my cat tree was missing. They immediately offered me a $10 refund for alerting them to the problem, and then promptly shipped me not one, but ten connector screws. br>br>THIS SELLER IS EXTREMELY RECOMMENDABLE! And, at any price, BUY THIS ONE if you want the best quality cat tree. It is impossible to make a mistake.
I have five cats, two of which are Bengals, and this is a very sturdy cat tree! It was simple to put together this product. That was two months ago when I finally got around to it. Unfortunately, I've been finding gray furry fabric in the cat's room, and I've discovered that they're ripping the fabric right off the posts because it's NOT GLUED to the post and is quite thin! My previous cat tree had a two-year life span! Regrettably, this one will soon need to be replaced. It's strong and sturdy, and the design appeals to me, but it's not properly upholstered. I'm not pleased with myself.
Everything was unpacked and ready to put together when the package arrived today. The only thing that's missing are all of the screws that should have come with it. Now I have a house full of five children who are unable to play with their toys.
