She's a long-haired main coon mix that we adopted. She adores the cubbies and can easily fit in them; she can also fit on the top, but she is hesitant to sleep there. br>br>Assembly was simple, and the carpet is soft and complements my decor nicely. I've only had it for a day, but I'm glad I purchased it. I have a couple of "extra fluffy" cats and was having trouble finding a tree with a large enough bed for them. They not only have enough room on their own, but they can also fit on it together! The larger of the two cats weighs 20 pounds, while the smaller weighs 15 pounds. They've spent several hours working on it together since I put it up, and it appears to be holding them up just fine; they've also spent time in the little "cubbyholes" and found plenty of room.

It's also 33" tall from top to bottom! The sisal posts are soft grey, and there are two enclosed areas. This cat condo is fantastic, and my indoor cats absolutely adore it! br>I purchased one from another company, but it was too small for me, so I donated it to a shelter. The perch was only 12x12 feet in size. Larger cats should not sleep or stretch in this area. It was, however, pleasant. Amazon is to be commended. Quick delivery and simple assembly!.

Most cat trees are made for kittens, not adult (large) cats like mine, but this one is ideal: it's made for larger cats, so my 17-pound cat can stretch out. I would strongly suggest it!.

I decided it was time to put this cat tree together after opening the box and letting it "air out" for a few days. br>I went through the instructions/pictures and counted all of the pieces. screws to ensure that everything was in place, which it was. br>It was easier for me to take it up in pieces because I was putting it upstairs and didn't have much upper body strength. br>I recently had wood flooring installed and was concerned that the screws on the bottom piece would scratch or damage it once it was put together and upright. As suggested by another reviewer, I decided to lay an old sheet on the floor. br>br>Well, guess what? After all of my "planning and organization," guess what? I discovered that the included hex key/allen wrench was the WRONG SIZE, so I couldn't put the cat tree together that night. Fortunately, the next day, I was able to borrow the correct size from my boss, who keeps a tool box in his office/laboratory. br>br>It's difficult to say how long this will last (the carpet is very thin), but it does appear to be sturdy. My two cats (7 lbs. each) were thrilled when I finally finished putting it together. 9 lbs) was the first to jump on it. They both appear to be relaxing in the sun while admiring the view out the window.

It's also a great deal!   I looked at a lot of cat towers online and in person before settling on this one. I'm 100% happy with my choice. What's more, it's a big hit with my kitten! br>I'm glad I read enough reviews on other, similar-looking towers to notice that many of the elaborately outfitted ones are much smaller than the pictures depict. As a result, I took measurements of various ones that looked interesting and discovered that, while this one doesn't have as many platforms and rooms as others, it is the perfect size for my one cat household and will definitely fit her as she grows into an adult cat. br>This is the second one I bought, and I did an unboxing and assembly review for it. My friend has a kitten from the same litter as mine, and when she saw mine, she knew she had to have one for her own. I offered to assemble hers and make the video for others who were put off by the prospect of a lengthy process because I had already completed one.
