This design is modern and grey is my favorite color! I love that you get a few spare parts from them. As it is put together, it is very similar to putting together IKEA furniture, which we have an incredible amount of experience with so it was easy (and fun). They give you nice cushions for the tree, which are super soft (kinda like the throw blankets you get at Hot Topic or Spencer's, which This is a great cat tree! The product was a good buy for me. One of the best things about it is that there is no carpet covered in it, and that the covers can be washed, and it blends into the room unobtrusively. On the surface, it *could* be an easy assembly if the pieces and hardware work, but on two or three of the W-shaped pieces, it is not The dividers had 14 holes in them, and its plastic inner lining had been stripped. was able to obtain a workaround for it, but I still have to fix that issue. Additionally, two of the pieces did not have exactly matched holes, so even though it was only a little off, it added to my It's the stability that is the bigger issue, and it's a simple fix that I wonder why the seller/ manufacturer did not think of it. This thing wobbles when my smaller cat jumps up or down, but when my larger cat jumps up or down, the thing doesn't. Despite the fact that it comes with a strap to secure it to the wall, you have to use an electric drill to do this, and it's very tricky I don't like this design at all. It is best to leave the strap loose and add the strap to the back first. Another bolt or screw to secure it is then added on the back. Although it could be done, it's awkward to have it attached in the way it is now. When you consider that the thing is still wobbling, you understand why I am concerned.

One simple way to stabilize it is to put a pole under the round perch at the bottom of it to prevent it from wobbling. This would result in the perch being fixed in one place, but the added stability would certainly be useful. As a solution to this problem, I will place books in the designated area to provide a more secure base, but this is the only major change I propose. Overall, both cats love it, and the best part is that they live like it for the most part. We've all taken a nap, and that little cubby in the middle is going to cause a bidding war. On my way to see if there's one with just a smaller cubby, I'll look for another one. I recommend purchasing this, but not for the price. At least at my place, it does need that extra stability because the tree is beautiful, but does not stand alone.

I was delighted to find this as many cats' condos are horrid. It was definitely an IKEA situation when it arrived, but the directions were very clear. I probably set it up within an hour or two. A video is even available on YouTube, but I did not end up needing this and preferred to follow the written directions instead. The item is made well and looks exactly like it does in the picture. It was difficult for me to know how my cat would react to a condo because she is very shy and sensitive. On her first night, she spent the night in the bottom cubby! With ease, she explored the condo, and within one month she managed to reach the top perch and has been happily playing with the scratching posts and This purchase has been a great experience for me. If given the choice between a fancy toy and a hair tie, she'd choose the hair There is also the added benefit of the fuzzy covers within the cubbies and the covers that fit on top of the perch being detachable for washing. In the future, I'll likely wash it every once in a while with cold water on gentle and let it air dry to know I'm not compromising my health.
