Our cat weighs around 10 1/2 pounds and is very playful. He's never tipped it over.
Yes, you can have twice as much fun! They're also relatively small, so they don't take up much space. I would definitely have two cats if I still had eight. These are, without a doubt, the best scratching post trees I've ever had. Their sturdiness is a significant advantage over single posts, which are prone to tipping and are a cat deterrent. In addition, there are two flat sleeping surfaces. Every now and then, I spray everything with spray catnip, which amps up the fun!

This is a favorite of both of our cats. It's extremely well-made. constructed and dependable I wish it were a little bigger and taller, but we have two very large cats (boys - one is a boy and the other is a boy). both weighing around 15 lbs.
I currently have six cats, but there could be as many as nine at any given time. I've bought a lot of cat scratching posts and trees over the years, some of which were expensive and others which were not. I haven't had any of them last very long, regardless of price or build quality. Some of my cats are big scratchers, while others aren't so much. I'll buy them again when they wear out the ones that are popular with them. br>br>Petmaker's scratching post has been a huge success. It is used by almost all of the cats. It was a good deal. Given the low price, it appears to be well constructed, and it was simple to assemble. The top and bottom carpeting isn't the thickest I've seen, and the ropes aren't the thickest I've seen, but the cats love it. Will it last for a long time? I don't think so. Is it going to last a year? That's what I'm hoping for. Is it something I'm likely to buy again? Yes, absolutely!.
This is a favorite among all three of my cats. I bought it for my new calico, who was scratching the carpet and furniture when he first came into the house. Since we brought it in, she hasn't scratched anything but this post, so that's a win in my book. The unit is simple to put together. It's small and light, but it can withstand a lot of scratching and use. It has never come to a halt. br>br>4-month update: It isn't going to last long because the ropes are coming undone.
It took only a few minutes to put together, and both kittens enjoy it. They alternate sleeping on top of it, perching on top of it to dive bomb the other kitten, or playing with each other around the posts, scratching the posts, fighting with the dangling toys, and so on. br>br>When I first saw it, I was concerned about the size because it was pictured with a tiny kitten. While my kittens are still kittens, I'd like them to be able to use it as they grow older. It's a good size for them at 4 months old, and there appears to be enough room for them to grow as well. Although a very large or plump cat might have difficulty sleeping on the top, I believe most adult cats would be able to do so. br>br>I deducted one star because the fabric on the underside is already beginning to fray. Otherwise, the construction appears to be solid, though I am concerned that the dangling toys will eventually fall out.
This item is a big hit with my cats. It's a bummer because it's only been three days and they've already ripped the mouse toy and one of the balls off of it, so they're now running around the house playing with that mouse. We re-tied the ball, but it won't last much longer. This is used by three cats who are all under the age of a year. I would look for something else if you have multiple larger cats. They haven't ripped up anything else in the house since I set this up for them. The couch, mattress, bed frame, carpet, the bottoms of the doors, and some of my clothes were all ruined. I'm concerned that once they've ripped all three toys from it, they'll stop using it and resume scratching the furniture.
PRO; PRO; PRO; PRO; PRO; PRO; PRO; PRO; PRO; PRO; PRO; PRO; PRO; PRO; PRO The scratching posts are of excellent quality, and unlike any of my other cats, Seamus immediately began using them. br> Another popular fish is the 'perch. ' He uses it frequently during the day because he can look out the atrium door and see more than he can from the ground. br> It is comfortable for him because of the carpeted top. He can walk through the posts because they are spaced far enough apart. Trick is now four months old and weighs five pounds, so he may soon outgrow him. ASSEMBLY; BR>BR>ASSEMBLY; BR>ASSEMBLY; BR>ASSEMBLY; BR>AS One more advantage. EASY WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ME: It came with a tool, but I didn't bother with it and relied on my own strength instead. Because I'm over 70, I don't give it much thought. In addition, I included. I put the bottom piece on backwards, but Mr. Let's Play was on my lap, making it difficult; I recommend assembly (SIMPLE). A moderately strong person should be able to complete the task. So that the product is STURDY, the posts must be screwed in tightly. br>br>CON: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is not the place In a matter of minutes, the balls were gone. The elastic is too narrow and weak, especially if your cat pulls on it rather than just bats at the balls. He lost interest in it after the balls were removed. I still had enough elastic to tie various toys to it. Because the elastic is too short for him to grab a toy—original balls made that easy—he could grab the ball, pull it up, and then bat it off again while sitting on the perch. To play with the other customer's added ball, he now needs to stand tall. He can't pull it down because it's much higher than the original ball. As a result, the overall satisfaction rating has been reduced by one star. I'm going to go out and buy some elastic and look for toys that will fit through it. I don't have a staple gun, so I'll use thumb tacks to hold the toys in place. br>br> I used the remaining piece of elastic to attach a toy with feathers. He snatches up the feathers with both hands. But, since the elastic where it broke is thinner than before, I don't think that will last. If the above-mentioned homemade remedy fails, I expect he will still use it as a perch, which is unfortunate and disappointing. OVERALL; br>br> I would give this product an A rating if the elastic had lasted longer.
Our cat tried to play with it before we even put it up, so it was perfect. In our living room, it's very stylish. The only issue I have is that the toy's string isn't strong enough, and it loses its stretchiness after 30 minutes of play. It's closer to four. 5 Star. It's perfect in every other way!.
Fabio the Fabulous Feline has a particular preference for scratching posts. (He likes to sit in the back of my chair. ) ) I put this next to my chair, and it has significantly reduced chair scratching; Not entirely, but a good portion of the time. Fabio enjoys jumping up and sitting on the platform.
