It would be better if the pellets were smaller

There is more of a marble-like texture to the pellets. As a result, you take a lot out of the bag in a short period of time. There is no industry standard definition of "pellets," but that makes spreading it unworkable with a broadcaster. Having to buy a specially designed bottle with extra-wide holes put me in need of a hand shaker. However, the pellets were too large and this caused the pellets to be consumed way too quickly. It worked fine and the temperature was within the tolerance range. Note As a snow clearing contractor, I make my living clearing snow. It may be fine for a single family home or occasional user, but if you use it more than a few times, or live in a snowy area where you need more than a few uses out of it, you might be better off shopping A single bag of bagged trash gave me about 100 feet of sidewalk and a two-car driveway. I do not have to spend as much when I have eight children In an afternoon, you can visit 10 properties.

The site is well Double-check your work The product is packaged in two layers of plastic bags This is important since Calcium Chloride absorbs water from the atmosphere and takes it to its storage location where it becomes a mess

The reason I use this chemical for ice melting is that it's the least damaging to flagstones and mortar in patios. Those can be destroyed by salt. The pellets are nicely pelleted, and free-flowing As soon as I got it, it started flowing.

It takes a lot of this to melt snow and ice

This melts snow and ice, but it takes a lot of it in one place to do so. Salt I used was regular rather than table salt.

The calcium chloride found in dozens of listings is not completely pure

I had searched for 100% calcium chloride and was disappointed to find it only contains 94- percent calcium chloride I cannot use it to the full extent because the percentage was so high. It was a disappointing experience.
