Yes, mounting screws were included, but there were no lockwashers. I used those mounting screws to install it, as well as external tooth "Shakeproof" lockwashers to prevent it from loosening due to vibration.
It's for a Tecumseh engine, so check the picture or the part numbers in the ad.
There are no mounting balls.
Make sure the outlet you're plugging the cord into isn't tripped, as this may seem obvious. GFCI or Breaker is the term used to describe a circuit breaker that is designed to My setup is identical to yours. My snowblower is in its 20th year of service. I used it to give my snow blower an electric start. Although some oe parts may be consolidated, I had to make some additional modifications to my engine's air shroud in addition to the cut out lines. br>It does exactly what it says on the tin. br>The Tecumseh engine's design required head bolts to be removed in order to remove the air shroud, so it's not for the faint of heart; however, replacing an existing starter should be simple.
Despite the fact that the mounting holes are correct, the mounting bracket is not properly formed to allow engagement, and I was unable to get it to work, so I returned it.
The mounting points were all in the right place.
Keep an eye on things. I was tightening a bolt when the head broke off; now I have to pay someone to get an easy-to-replace bolt. Remove the bolt and attempt to replace it.
The ease with which it was installed pleasantly surprised me.
It was simple to set up and it works flawlessly. It's a lot less work than pulling the starter rope.
A low-cost substitute for an OEM starter. It's simple to set up and operate.
