Fits perfectly in my Ariens Deluxe 28 in. Stage Sno-Thro fits like a glove with its electric start. From the tires on up, covers are provided. The hem is kept tight by a strong elastic band. In the cold, the material does not stiffen, making it easy to put on; the cover remains soft and flexible.
Fits over my Ariens 24" Deluxe snowblower, which I keep in my garage during the winter and basement during the summer, rather than outside, to keep dust and gas fumes at bay. If it had been heavy weight as described, I would have given it five stars. It's a medium- to heavy-weight fabric. br>br>It's best used indoors rather than outdoors.
For several months, I've had a cover on my deck snow blower in Lake Tahoe. I live on one of the city's higher streets, so the weather can be unpredictable. The cover has been tested in all types of weather, including: Rain/sleet, heavy wet snow, and powder are all possible conditions. On top of it, ice has formed. It's simple to wear and remove. It has a hole from one of the protruding rods on my snow blower, but that is most likely my fault, and the fabric appears to be holding up. At the end of the winter, perhaps more.
As a result, we decided to order a cover for our new snow blower, which would be parked next to the back porch. There were cheaper options, but we kept coming back to this one, and we're glad we did. It was a perfect fit and didn't freeze up, making snow removal a breeze. It also didn't get stiff in the cold. We'll clean up our snow blower so it's ready for next winter as soon as that door is repaired, and she'll sit nicely in the garage under her cover. Because our garage isn't attached to the house, I was glad we had the blower next to the porch because the cold temperatures and record snowfall in February made it easy to get out there. So I'm glad we went ahead and ordered it.
It's the perfect fit for my Ariens Classic 24. There's still enough space that you might be fine on a larger one, but I can't guarantee it. The ariens logo on the one I received appears to be a little nicer than the one in the photo. It didn't come with instructions for how to put it on, so just start at the handles and work your way down.

I bought an Ariens 28" snowblower and needed a cover to store it in the off-season. I didn't want to pay the hardware store's exorbitant price, so this cover was perfect. br>It arrived quickly and was simple to put on.
So far, the cover appears to be in good working order. The only thing I'd change (if I could) is to make it a little bigger to cover the snowblower's tracks and the entire front end. Aside from that, everything is fine.
